  1. The videos aren't working properly! What's wrong?

    Problems with video playback can be caused by a number of reasons which is why we created the Video Help Guide to answer the most common questions as well as provide instructions on how to receive more direct help. Check it out!
  2. Is this site free to use?

    Of course! You can watch most of the videos without paying a dime, although we do provide a premium service through Premium Membership which enables some awesome features.
  3. Is it legal to watch videos here?

    Crunchyroll is your 100% legal source for Anime and Drama on the internet since we work hard to obtain all of the proper licensing rights in order to provide these videos for your consumption. In short, it is legal to watch videos here.
  4. Why are some Titles not available in my country?

    While we try to get worldwide availability for all of our titles, due to the vagaries of licensing restrictions we cannot promise that every single title released on Crunchyroll will be available in all countries. Detailed territorial restrictions are displayed on each video page. We are continuously asking for more rights for more regions. Please be patient and check back for more updates!   5. Why is Crunchyroll only for people whom are 13 years of age or older?

    The internet can be a scary place for the lighthearted. Since there is no easy way for us to gauge your maturity level, we must restrict usage to people whom are over the age of 13 since most people have matured enough by this age to be able to make decisions for themselves. If you are under the age of 13, you may only use the site if you have expressed permission from a parent or legal guardian.
  6. I forgot my password, how do I reclaim it?

    To change your password, please go to the Password Reset Form, input your Email address and hit Submit. After you perform any of these actions, you'll need to log in to your email account, open the appropriate email from Crunchyroll and follow the link in it to complete the process. If you are having trouble doing this, you'll need to contact us for assistance.
  7. Why are there no videos listed for such and such series on Crunchyroll?

    We only release videos for titles that we have gained the proper rights to distribute here. So if you come across a page that does not have videos listed, it is most likely just there for informative and social purposes.
  8. Can I request that a Title be added?

    Before we can add a Title here, we first have to gain the right to host the series from the companies that own it. Since this process takes a long time and there is no guarantee that we'll get a specific Title, we simply can't take requests.
  9. The region detection system shows that I'm from a different country than the one I'm actually in, how can I fix it?

    This is an error that happens once in a while and can be fixed by logging out of your account and then logging back in. If that does not resolve your problem please contact us for further assistance.
  10. Can I upload videos here?

    We only allow videos to be uploaded by approved Publishers whom own the proper distribution rights for the content they are uploading. If you own content that you would like to be hosted here, please contact bd at crunchyroll dot com about your interest in becoming a Publisher for Crunchyroll.
