Hinako Note: Passione Really Broke A Leg.
As a first comedy slice of life series of Passione was really a bang. I’ve already watched some series from Passione and really praised them but this genre is always a trap. If it’s not well written, it gets boring and it does it swiftly. Definitely not the case with Hinako Note though. A very interesting story with extremely cute characters, some very welcome and funny fan service and a very ...

    Weird, cute, fun, typical.
Typical doesn't really mean it's bad. It's really just a fun little show to watch, but nothing is really special about it. I suppose it's the first time I've watched an anime where the main character is so shy she turns into a scarecrow, but it wasn't overwhelming. It couldn't even keep my attention to keep watching it week after week, and I finally just watched it so that it was finished.

  • Cute Slice of Life with Great Writing.
I absolutely loved this show. It was, for me at least, relate able. There was a very good balance of humor to serious moments which was accentuated by switching the art styles of the characters and backgrounds. It's obviously a common trope but it definitely helps to make this anime understandable to a broader audience. 5/5 would recommend to anyone looking for an amazing slice of life show!

    Great New Chibi Anime
Loved this series! Hina-chan is super cute, great storyline. I love how it had chibi and regular art. Did not enjoy the ecchi-ness, panty shots and boobs flopping everywhere. I hope there will be another season though! 7/10

The calander in the last episode does say 2018, so I'm looking forward to another season.

  • A Surprisingly Good Show!
I had no idea what this show was before I watched the first episode, and this kind of anime is not usually what I like to watch, but it quickly grew on me. The characters are good and interact well with one another, and the episodes managed to amuse more often than not. Recommend giving this a try.

    Precious and heartwarming
Although still airing, it is such a cute show that makes my heart warm. While it does have some uncomfortable moments where they show cute and innocent characters in an almost "lewd" way, I think that's still an accurate representation of puberty. While the girls are still young and innocent, they're growing into their bodies and finding out more about themselves and others in "womanhood" ...

    Unsettling, Scary, Moe(?)
When I watch anime, I look for anime that have an idea what they're doing. A show that has realistic characters, good action, maybe even just a good soundtrack, but they share one thing. They know what they're doing.

The creators of Hinako Note have created the single most unsettling character to exist in a television program I have personally watched, and they're supposed to be cute. So shall ...

Same old, Same old - But really well done.
You know the drill; Pretty girl and group of friends who are also pretty girls do something harmless. The plot - Or rather, the premise - is uninspired, the characters are pretty two-dimensional, and the comedy is so-so.
It is, however, really, really pretty. And very cute, too.
What makes it different from other shows of this type is primarily two things:
Firstly, the Yuri subtext is well ...

    Defining mediocrity for Spring 2017
In these times of hyperbolic, sensationalist media, the word "mediocre" has taken on such a negative connotation that it's become hard to use outside of insults. This very site's 5-star rating system seems to encourage an all-or-nothing 5-or-don't-bother rating scheme. If you're confused as to what the word, "mediocre," actually means, I invite you to watch this show. You will come to ...
