Interesting Suspense/Mystery Drama

A rather good series, combining action, suspense, detective work, love and humour. It is different from shows like CSI or Criminal Minds because this show also emphasizes the characters' personal relationships, their feelings and dilemmas (much more that USA-made shows). Overall, the show is rather solid, although it might seem to move at a slow pace, all the episodes are related, rather than having individual episodes being their own self-contained stories.

Some criticisms:
I am unsure how the police actually is in Korea, however this show often portrays them in an unfavorable light: being unprofessional, lacking self-control, breaking the rules and then justifying it for themselves (which often kind of paints a black-and-white picture in contrast with 'real' criminals). The show however does not present such hypocrisy in a negative fashion.

The characters, albeit overall solid, still each stem from stereotypical antihero cop archetypes, which is a bit cliche.

In conclusion:
The show is good, I encourage you to watch it if you like police dramas, suspense and mystery, and can overlook a lack of ethics and fortitude to some extent.
