Great story so far, CGI but really smooth/more moves than your average singing anime. Could use more character development as of the first episode.
Really enjoyed the first 1-2 Episode being combined and not extremely rushed. While they still used CGI for the concert performance scenes it didn't feel nearly as static as a lot of the other current singing series with their CGI. Was a lot smoother and felt like it had more "moves" although they weren't entirely in sync since it was only their first performance. More reasonable as in new band - ...

I hope this gets good reception because it's a gem!
Idolish 7 was originally a mobile game released by Bandai Namco in Japan, featuring a visual novel and rhythm game type game play. It is a Japanese only mobile game, however you can play it if you live in other countries to find out how visit the Idolish 7 fan wiki. But anyway onto the review, this show so far is great! The animation is smooth and the music and sounds are nice as-well. And all the ...

I love the game and I love the Anime!
IDOLiSH7 is a mobile otome/rhythm game that many have loved for years now and we have all been asking and asking for there to be an anime and there finally was. As expected the dancing is CGI which to me is the only downside of the whole thing. However the great voice acting (same actors as the ones in the game) and beautiful art style make it all the worth watching. I can't wait to watch more and ...

Love it from the first episode!
I've never watched an idol anime before so I don't have much experience, but I really loved this and already feel attached to some of the characters. The singing was surprisingly good, and even though the dances were CGI they didn't look half bad either. Can't wait to see more and dive deeper into all the different personalities.

Typical Otome Idol Story but with Different Guys
I mean, what to say? If that's what you're into, go for it. If not, don't bother like always. If you're expecting anything different or original, don't. Last original idol anime that interested me was Shonen Hollywood. IDOLiSH7 has the same idol formula, with hot trope guys, one being your typical blonde-hair, blue-eyed, pale skin white gaijin, and then there's your main female lead who's supposed ...

    Idols with personalities?!??!
I love the characters in this anime - they feel down to earth and not vague in personality - there's something more defined in their ambitions and they have, dare I say, some common sense? It's not just pretty boys living a lavish lifestyle as an idol, they're buckling down and trying to build themselves up from the bottom, but they have such good interactions it feels so refreshing and even ...

a seriously good idol anime! and with characters that have personalities!
This anime is based off the rhythm and visual novel mobile game released a few years ago in Japan. It has gained a huge following, and for the fans, this anime has been a long time coming! As a fan of the popular Uta no Prince-sama, and a veteran male idol anime watcher, I can honestly say that this one is a serious gem!

While following the story of this 7 man idol unit (get it? ...

I love this anime so much
I've been watching anime since 10 (now a 26 year old "adult") and have adored many, but IDOLSIH7 has been by far one of the shows that has made my cry, laugh, and keep wanting more with only 8 episodes in.
Keep them epiodes rolling, please! <3

    Not Exactly What I Expected
One look at this and one may think that this is your typical idol anime. A group of boys all fall in love with the same girl and their road is laid out to them in a rainbow where their first concert will have thousands of screaming fans just waiting for them. That they will defeat all the previous guys in a battle of popularity and get bigger than them. Blah blah blah. You know, that typical idol ...
