    if you like the matrix, you will love this
    Interlude, is an abstract representation of sacrifice, love and hope.
    It has an amazing story line, where dreams and reality come together. However you must be able to read in between the lines of the story.

    The story is Matrix-like, however, no machines were responsible for the world's destruction(actually is unknown reason);
    And we do live on an alternate world, a world of memories, ...

    One of the best animes
    When I saw the title I thought it looked interesting so I saw this series blind. Amazing storyline, amazing voice cast, amazing animation, good at the dark humor, and, even though this series is presented into three timelines, the viewer can still follow the series. Pay attention to everything because this series is classified as a mind f**k.

  • Where Amazing and Confusion Collide
    Like the other reviewers, I say the title of this series and thought it was worth taking a look. So much lost potential
    There was a good story in here somewhere, but it got lost in an attempt to be more like Eva or the Matrix or something else popular. Characters don't really develop, and the story goes back and forth between supernatural intrigue and slice of life yawn fest. Most of the characters really don't need to be there and no information is really given about anything.

    The first episode is the best ...

    Absolutely INCREDIBLE
    This is probably one of the more thought provoking anime's I've seen and altogether well done it might take some time to sink in but it is a striking vision of a post apocalyptic world. And yes almost matrix like with a basic theme shared but this work and the emotions behind it i would say are far removed from the matrix. Where the matrix is about survival this is more of a disrupted love story. ...

    Awful and Pretentious
    This is one of the worst animés ever. Ugly drawing, stiff and stilted dialogue and a story with great pretensions to depth and insight that undercuts itself. It is a post apocalyptic landscape lurking beneath the dreams of a banal and stultifying reality. Why are there three realities? Why does a character from one reality somehow undo another? Why is there the strange recurring trope of big ...
