  • Real talk I expected to hate this
And yet here I am with five stars. Could have been a garbage show with pandering fanservice but instead it's a remarkably thoughtful look at actually understanding those different from you. The characters are fantastic, fun to watch, and come off as very human given, well, you know. But maybe that's the point.

  • Interviews With Monster Girls : An impressive light comedy.
My general feelings on this series are mostly positive. Even though it gave me an impression of trying to have a deeper meaning, in the end, the comedy aspect was favored leaving us with a great "lightweight" series.

The concept of this anime is really interesting. Dare I say not been executed before.

The series was funny for the most part and the humour was great. Unmistakably a light ...

  • Light, cheery, cute, with a touch of "that's messed up"
Okay so I think my only problem with this one is the girls all swooning over the teacher. I mean I understand why but it makes him seem wildly inappropriate then because of their feelings towards him. I loved the relationship between the succubus and the teacher it was cute and so heartwarming. Definitely would watch more of this

  • It Is Absolutely Amazing
Started watching this because of a screenshot of a scene, and I absolutely loved it! The dynamic between him and the girls is absolutely beautiful and is absolutely one of my top animes. It is so great, that it is one of the few animes that I have actually enjoyed just as much watching it a second time.

    monster girl slice of life
Interviews with Monster Girls is a nice slice of life about monster girl students and a teacher who "studies" them. Overall it is a playful show but also offers thoughtful and heartfelt situations about understanding what the monsters girls deal with day to day. Each girl is likable in their own way and the teacher is sensitive and thoughtful, and along with the female succubus teacher, we get a ...

  • Heartwarming slice of life
So your first thought upon seeing the name for this would be 'oh so it's like Monster Masume', and I must admit it was mine as well. Surprisingly though, it has a fairly unique take on the monster girl genre. These monster girls, rather than being some entirely different species, are actually more like mutations. As the anime itself will explain, very rarely a human will be born with a special ...

  • Beautiful Story, Beatiful Allegory
I found this anime while browsing Wikipedia, and man, am I glad I did. I thought it would be a cute show, but I got a beautiful, wonderful experience.

    ***SPOILERS AHOY***

“Interviews with Monster Girls” is a great series. The stories are well-crafted, the animation is done well, and the character development is beleivable. It also is very humerous!

    I believe it’s ...

  • Not what you'd expect.
"Single male MC with a harem of cute monster girls? Sounds like common trashy anime with no meaningful or wholesome message!" is what I thought going into this; I couldn't have been more wrong.

Despite the ridiculous premise, this anime was one of the most realistic and down-to-earth shows I've watched. It tackles real world problems like discrimination and disability on a social level without ...
