  • What the hell was... that?
A series of short subjects involving some kind of unrequited Boys' Love, a broccoli-haired hero, and a buck-toothed "villain." Oh, and the hero has the oddest speech impediment where he waits one or two beats before saying the last syllable of an utterance. While I think this was supposed to be one of the funnier gimmicks of the series, it doesn't translate well.

You'll either love or hate this ...

    What did i just watch...
So i watched this entire series... and i feel that part of my brain just died... other then that though it was somewhat amusing... but still i wish i had not seen this in the first place. Although, after looking back on it some weeks later i think back fondly on this as it was very funny and i don't know if i could forget about this show if i wanted to xD

  • A glorious short to be watched
This series is rather short, to short. The speed of the humor and the story is too amazing to fit in 2 minutes.
If you like dumb, stupid, nonsensical anime, you'll really enjoy this.

Only downside is that the opening takes up 1/4th of the show's time. Good song though!

  • Bizarrice de boa qualidade.
Esse anime é bizarrice pura. Eu assisto e me pergunto: como? Como eles tem coragem de fazer um desenho desses? Como eles tem coragem de passar isso na TV? É simplesmente sensacional! Vale a pena assistir. Humor que lembra muito um anime relativamente famoso chamado "Detroit Metal City", tão bizarro quanto.

    Changed my Way of Life
Ishida & Asakura is a work that makes you question who you are as a mortal being. We only have a limited amount of time on this planet so how do we make use of our all-too-brief existence? Ishida & Asakura manages to stretch across the entirety of human knowledge and emotion in two minutes an episode and forces the viewer into a higher plane of understanding.

    The theme song is ...

  • Juvenile Absurdist Humor
Often perverted, always an abrupt jab to the funny bone, Ishida & Asakura is equal measures hilarious and stupid. It's a low budget show making due with a tiny time slot, and although it may offend and does not add up, it's an impressive work nonetheless.

    Too short, too rushed.
It may be funny sometimes, with its absurdist humor. It seems like something that came out of a 13 year-old -hormone-horny boy's mind. But, nevertheless, it isn't enough to make it good. Episodes are way too short, and many times it feels rushed. The narrative is told in "sudden chunks of events". I remember when I've watched the first episode, I thought " - Oh, this must be some kind of ...

    Absolutely Sidesplitting
Although only two minutes long, this show makes good use of those two minutes and is probably one of the funniest anime on CR. It's extremely wild, so if you aren't into that kinda stuff it isn't for you, but you should give it a try anyways and see if they can get you. The art isn't crappy, it's just like a retro 70's style which adds to the humor when you watch it. You might like this one!!

pure junk with a catchy theme song
The best that can be said if this is that it has a decent title sequence and theme song. Those compromise half the features length. The show is puerile and may be worth a brief chuckle to a 12-13 year old boy.
