Technical Lead

Engineering Team | San Francisco

We are looking for highly motivated and talented technical individuals to join our team as a Technical Lead. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, has worked in software development, has led scrum sessions or sprints, and can effectively communicate and manage engineering resources.


  • Lead and guide engineers through plan, scope, develop, and launch projects
  • Direct and coordinate launch, testing, maintenance, scope setting, task transitioning
  • Mentor and train other engineers and support staff
  • Analyze engineering efforts, resource allocations, and implementation plans
  • Lay out project specifications for sprints and milestones
  • Develop build time estimates and resource requirements
  • Manage the team's performance and track record
  • Coordinate with product team to plan out objectives and deliverables


  • Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 4+ years as a software development engineer
  • 2+ years as a lead engineer within a team or a pod
  • Expert in LAMP environment
  • Expert with scrum process
  • Expert with issue tracking software
  • Ability to command the respect of the engineers from a technical standpoint; you are up-to-date with technology and constantly sharpen your own individual skill
  • Must be willing to code; you are not expected to code much as a manager, but you need to be able to.
  • Ability to assess project impact and complexity
  • Keen sense of resource and staffing requirements
