Product Analyst

Product Management Team | San Francisco

Crunchyroll is looking for a motivated individual with strong analytical skills to join the Crunchyroll Platform Product team, the team responsible for the broader platform strategy and development. S/he will build metrics, models, and reports to support product planning and will work directly with product management and Crunchyroll executives to identify better ways to provide excellent video consumption experience to passionate audience. To help build product strategy, product offering and drive roadmap for platform development, s/he should continuously gather, analyze and summarize data to influence and drive product decisions

Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with product management, finance, and data engineers as a leader of quantitative analysis
  • Develop SWOT analysis, what-if scenario analysis to justify (or otherwise) product roadmap of the company
  • Identify, develop, manage, and execute analyses to uncover areas of opportunity and present written business recommendations to the executives
  • Use internal user data, market data and competition data to understand the broader context and narrow it down to specific product recommendation
  • Develop customer segmentation, trend and correlation analyses across multiple programs and     product lines
  • Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reporting, working across multiple teams to identify and present high-level analytics to key-stakeholders and executives
  • Create and dynamically update forecasts and design effective visualizations to convey actual performance and any deltas from forecast
  • Drive the collaboration around actual performance and forecasts to directly impact business decisions and actions

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to summarize findings and present solutions;
  • Excellent Microsoft Office/PC skills, especially Excel
  • Experience diving into quantitative information;
  • SQL, or the ability to convince us you’d quickly master it
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Clear, effective and persuasive Communication skills;
  • Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Highly organized, ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little to no guidance and tight deadlines;
  • Previous experience in budget, forecast, and financial analysis;
  • Interest in technology and how it impacts the future of reading
  • MBA preferred
