German Market Development Manager

We are looking for a highly-motivated individual who can lead the growth of Crunchyroll’s service in Germany to be the premiere local anime streaming service. This position reports into the Head of International at Crunchyroll HQ.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute online & offline marketing plans
  • Grow relationships and develop partnerships with relevant local industry partners
  • Establish a local German Crunchyroll Ambassador team
  • Oversee local convention attendance and Crunchyroll exhibitions
  • Manage German Public Relations and press requests
  • Advise product and programming improvements to better suit local landscape

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Strong Marketing and Business Development experience
  • Fluency in English and German
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of management/staff and effectively multitask
  • Knowledge of German anime market and anime in general
  • Independent, friendly, Internet savvy, and team oriented
