Market Development Manager (UK/Nordics)

We are looking for a highly-motivated individual who can lead the growth of Crunchyroll’s service in United Kingdom and the Nordics region to be the premiere local anime streaming service. This individual will be responsible for setting and achieving growth targets, and assisting with the building of local operations. This is a mid-level position reporting into the Head of International at Crunchyroll HQ.


  • Create and execute online & offline marketing plans
  • Grow relationships and develop partnerships with relevant local industry partners
  • Establish a local UK and Nordics Crunchyroll Ambassador teams
  • Oversee local convention attendance and Crunchyroll exhibitions
  • Manage regional Public Relations and press requests
  • Advise product and programming improvements to better suit local landscape
  • Provide guidance toward event and community budgeting


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong Marketing and Business Development experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of management/staff and effectively multitask
  • Knowledge of UK and Nordics anime market and anime in general
  • Independent, friendly, Internet savvy, and team oriented
