Grab Your Balls and Strike a Pose!
In a word, amazing. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is a manga that has been circulated since 1987 and is currently in its eighth story arc, being published in Ultra Jump, and remains to be one of the most popular stories in Japan. This spectacular manga has finally gotten the anime adaption it has always deserved (meaning its Araki approved). The first to parts, Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency, ...

    SONO CHI NO SADAME!!
This is probably one of the best kept secrets that Japan has to offer and I'm happy to see Crunchyroll getting the rights to stream this amazing show. This is probably one of the best and most bizarre shows out there. I really hope that Crunchyroll keeps the names similar to the original authors intentions. Thanks for bringing this stateside and enjoy the ride.

One of the hypest animes I've watched in a long time
I just finished a marathon of the first season in preparation for the upcoming second, and I could not stop watching. The action is incredible and the story and characters are absolutely ridiculous. Everything about this show is crazy and over the top but at the same time it has a compelling and addictive story.

The title says it all really: this is a show that is in equal parts bizarre and ...

A faithful adaptation of a beloved classic
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure is a curious case, being immensely popular in Japan but only releasing one of its 8 arcs stateside in the entirety of its ongoing 27 year run, and even then only ever having an OVA and a Movie released outside of the manga for the first 25.
The brave souls at David Production attempted to adapt this monster of a series, and their efforts were not wasted. The first 2 ...

The Nazi's Have Never Looked This Good
This show is the pinnacle of achievement in anime.

I didn't know that the Nazi's weren't so bad, that everyone in the world speaks Japanese, that men could achieve such amazing muscles, that men could survive a volcanic eruption, or that Speedwagon could narrate so well.

I've never seen a more masculine show, I haven't watched Free yet, but I stand by my position. I would recommend ...

    JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Arc's 1-2
One of my favorite anime's, till the 3'rd arc the Apocalypse... Why would they transfer the plot to these... stands... unexplained pothole filled *beeeeeep* I despise the 3'rd arc for its "jojo" its rewriting of the powers "stands" and how much weaker the plot is compared to its ancestors. The arc's of 1 and 2 are still by far some of my favorite things in my anime watching history.

    Great show. Definitely worth watching.
This anime is a work of art. It is one of my favorite shows ever. The only reason that it only has 4.6 stars if from people who only watched the first few episodes or who thought that Stardust Crusaders was the first arc. I highly recommend this anime.

  • Great example of classic storytelling with new animation.
I feel the need to review each part separately, as they are all fairly unique.

Part 1: Fast paced story is an understatement, somehow I feel the writer of the original work was trying to pin down exactly what they wanted to write here. That being said this part did a great job of hooking me, even if it was just for the seemingly ludicrous amount of manly.

Part 2: Due to a plot twist the ...

  • awesome, hillarious, or to put it simply epic
Jojo's bizarre adventure is by far one of the best shonen series ever PERIOD my opinion on the first part is that it was well written the animation was great and the action was good however the pacing could've been better and the characters could've been more fleshed out the plot was decent now part II was when I knew things were going to get good the characters were more polished and even ...
