    A gambler's misfortune
The misadventures of a gambling addict in debt. It's entertaining to watch him fumble through his misfortune. I think there are two or three seasons of this anime. Will CR get all seasons or just the first season?

    Not your average anime
This is not an anime that we're used to, it's harsh, brutal, silly, and at time painful to watch but the suspense kept me coming back. The main character, Kaiji, is a complete fool that I found myself rooting for the entire anime. He has no skills or super powers and constantly lets himself get trapped in the spiral of greed that rules the world.

Kaiji - An Underrated, overlooked, masterpiece.
For the longest time I put Kaiji off. Why? The premise didn't hook me, the art was ugly, and it just looked boring. Long story short I lost a bet and was forced to watch it. BEST BET I'VE EVER LOST. Kaiji ended up becoming one of my all time favorites. Not only did I find out it was animated by one of my favorite animators MADHOUSE (Hunter x Hunter, Claymore, Death Note) but I found out it ...

    Death Note: The Second Coming.
If you loved the twists and turns and suspense of Death Note you'll love Kaiji. If you hated Death Note, you'll love Kaiji. If animation in general interests you, you'll love Kaiji. If you like being at the edge of your seat with every passing episode, and when the episode ends go "What?? It's over already?!? IT JUST STARTED!!!" you'll love Kaiji. Now that I've mentioned all the reasons you'll love ...

This is the anime recommended to me and I recommend to others times 10000000!!!!!!
I've watched this anime many times.

This is not an anime. This is life. As raw as can be for drawings. If it does noot change your life, you need to explore life more. THIS IS THE REASON WHY IN MODERN SOCIETY!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly it starts off slow, but it picks up pace as you start to relate more and more to it... more than any fantasy drama about magic... more than any drama about the ...

    It started off okay...
I liked the start of it, but a few hours of him trying to beat the same machine? The whole thing could be summed up in around an hour, but it's being dragged out to no end, like they have no content. There are some interesting bits, but there spread to the point of boredom.

Love & Hate - Whirlwind of emotion
I don't often write reviews. However, this anime is something special. It warranted a review.

    I love this anime.

    I hate this anime.

I love this anime ... you get the idea. It's like picking petals of a flower off one by one -- I love it, I hate it, I love it, I hate it ... and at the very end - it came up "I love it."

I could not put this anime down - not until every single last ...

Review for both Season 1 and 2
This is not a bad show, it has some suspense, a decent plot, and it has a nice message about gambling overall (even though that message is impractical in real life).

The flaws in this show are:
    1. The unnecessary narrator who has an annoying voice and just repeats what the audience already knows, basically the narrator is a Parrot or Captain Obvious.

    2. For some reason, the male characters ...

If you or anyone you know has a gambling problem:
Put them on a boat of Yakuza and other folks with a gambling problem- And let them gamble! (Please note- As I am a free account, I am still pretty early on in the series)

Anyway. I have wanted to see Kaiji for some time now, noting its' popularity with the Japanese audience. This anime will really resonate with certain types- People who have been in, or are in, situations similar to ...

    Zawa..Zawa...Zawa...
Kaiji is a show that digs into how far people will go over money and when they are put into incredibly dangerous situations. Once you start watching this show you won't stop. Highly recommended to all
