Tricks and trials in the hidden land of youkai.
At first brush this shows some interesting potential as a subtle romance, and young girl's independence story. It looks to be off to a good start as it set's several plot devices in motion right right away without being too overbearing. While it bears similarities to several anime I have watched in recent years, it is definitely taking it's own path. As she works her way through challenges, ...

classic romance trope--engaging and easy to watch!
if you're like me and had to take a break from Ancient Magus' Bride, this show might be good for you. the animation isn't dynamic in any sense of the word, but the aesthetic is pretty and consistent-- very watchable, like I mentioned! Watching this first episode reminded me of Ancient Magus' Bride in the most superficial sense-- girl with the Sight finds herself engaged to be married an Other ...

One of my new favorite animes
i was looking for new anime to watch and this caught my eye. i watched the first episode and i was delightfully surprised by how much i like this anime. it's somewhat similar to spirit pact in both character design and anime and that was one of my favorite animes so i have high hopes for this anime.

Aoi is a refreshing main female
The story follows Aoi as she is swept away from her home and taken to a different realm to marry an Ogre as collateral for a debt her grandfather left behind (yes he even wrote down his own grandchild would be payment if he cannot pay his monetary debt).

Aoi is quite refreshing as a lead female character. She was already able to see and speak to ayakashi when she was suddenly taken to the ...

Like many others...but that's not bad
I don't really get what's going on with the trend of anime that seems to focus on food but I get the vibe that this is going to be another one...with a possible reverse harem(?). It's good. It makes me hungry. It's a little cheesy. But what's wrong with being cheesy if it's enjoyable? I love cheese.

Ever Just the Same (as of episdoe 13)
I watched this anime pretty much expecting it to be awful, but also rather expecting it to already be over. Doh! Always double check to make sure something's really and truly done before going to binge it. Anyway, here is my (super long) analysis of the show as of episode 13.

This is an anime take on Beauty and the Beast. There are obviously a lot of differences, but recognizing the background ...

    This Show is AMAZING
The story line is very interesting with unexpected connections between the characters, the characters themselves are beautifully written and I am absolutely loving the direction this is heading. Hoping for more episodes sooner rather than later. I love how they are developing Master and Aoi as they build their relationship. This is exactly the anime I've been searching for! A non highschool, ...

    Throw your support this way!
I'm a sucker for fantasy world anime, and this one is very promising! The characters are charming and each have interesting back stories that unfold as the story progresses. The setting is captivating and magical, not to mention the animations are beautifully done. It gives off a lot of Kamisama Kiss vibes, which is good! I've been looking for a similar anime and this fits the bill. Even the ...

Looking Forward To See How it Turns out!
There's only three episodes so far, but it's been pretty good.
I like the heroine a lot, she's different and she's actually older than usual heroines in this type of show. So that's refreshing. Specially for an older woman, like myself.......*cough cough*

The plot is pretty good. I like that there's a slight mystery along with the plot. It's hinted at, but it hasn't been made official yet. I ...

    The goddamn opening!
Seems like an enjoyable anime for this season and the first three episodes were quiet good. I can´t watch enough of this, beautiful music, animation and character designs. The opening has me dancing and singing everytime! xD Hope the show gets even better! ^^
