    Kalafina Review by Goten_ssj3
I started to listen to their songs when I was watching the anime seriers So-Ra-No-Wo-To when they were singing Hikari no Senritsu as the opening song. Since then, I liked their songs very much and is listening to them alot. While listening to their songs it gets me to feel relaxed everytime because of the calm music which is good and useful.

  • God-send angels? I think so.
Knowing about Kalafina was completely through coincidence. After many suggestions to watch Kuroshitsuji, I heard Lacrimosa. I was more than impressed with the song and how perfectly it matched the anime's plot. I got more and more curious, and I heard Kagayaku no Sora and was blown away once again. The harmonies between Wakana and Keiko are mysterious and complex, Hikaru's energetic vocals ...

  • Amazing band, wonderful style!
These girls are more than just cute faces! I love their style, and their voices are beautiful. There's a wonderful, almost haunting quality to their singing, which can be heard in the soundtrack for Kara no Kyoukai. The composer for the band, Yuki Kajiura, is one of my favorite musicians, and I've been following her work since I first heard the Noir soundtrack 10 years ago. Her talent, ...

  • Give yourself a chance
I've been hooked to Kalafina for almost a year now, like lots of people in America I was introduced to them through Black Butler; after watching a video of them on Youtube I was hooked! Not only are they so talented and have charismatic personalities but are so Kawaii!!!
Well give yourself a chance and listen to Kalafina and see their live performances, they have no comparison!

  • Kalafina's songs are unique
I remember first hearing them from the anime Kuroshitsuji and really loved how their music emphasized the tone of the anime. The feeling of anticipation of wanting to know what comes after despair (in this case, Ciel's despair of loosing his parents and obtaining his butler) i think is also expressed through the music and the images that go along with the song from the anime. I also think the song ...

  • The Kara no Kyoukai Group
Before anything, this was THE group that made the theme songs for Kara no Kyoukai. Their vocals entrance and the instruments entwine. I'm surprised their reach has extended to more popular anime. They've got awesome music for if you just want to lay back and chill.

  • Magically awesome and refreshing :)
i first heard of Kalafina's songs through the anime Kuroshitsuji. When I heard their song being played in the ending theme I was instantly mesmerized and hooked by their magical voices. Afterwhich, i tried to search for their group and other songs. It's like I was addicted to it for many weeks. I love storia, gloria, lacrimosa, kagayaku sora no shijima and etc. Their songs are different from ...

  • Kalafina: Spectacular Music
You may know of Yuki Kajiura's work through anime such as Madoka Magica, My-Hime, Tsuabasa and Fate/Zero. If you are a fan of her mucial style, you may have asked yourself, can this get any better?

    YES

Kalafina is a Japanese pop trio consisting of Keiko Kubota, Wakana Otaki and Hikaru Masai. Yuki composes the music, they provide the vocals. Their style is intensely gothic, mysterious and ...
