    They did the manga justice.
I was reading the manga before this and was hoping the anime met that expectation. The colors, shading and the characters are done very well. It helps the two main characters stand out much more than the secondary characters. I really enjoyed the bokeh and focus on the characters. Also the subtle hints that a certain character is really great. I find how they segmented the episodes to be great ...

The ultimate "try not to smile" challenge.
When I started watching this, I was expecting it to be average. I was very wrong. It is a fantastic anime full of laughs and incredibly cute and sweet moments. I can always come back to this when I need a quick pick-me-up, or if I simply want to relax and enjoy some cuteness.

It may not have everything (i.e. there's not mecha, no fantasy, no supernatural), but what it does have is truly ...

    This is the cutest anime
It's such a simple concept, yet it works brilliantly.
It's so cute that every episode makes you go "awwwww"
Every story arc is original and refreshing, and maintains its cute character interactions.
After watching the first episode I decided to read the manga and have now caught up to date.

Another cute slice of life, but it still manages to connect
Going into this anime I wasn't sure I cared for the premise, IE a boy being tormented by his female classmate. But that was a poor description. While "Takagi-san" does love to tease her classmate, she does so without malice. It's a classic example of a girl who's matured a little faster than the boy who interests her, causing him to react in a classic boy fashion - competitively. Many of the ...

    Didn't Mean to say..
This doesn't really come from the brain but from my Heart instead, I like to say truth fully. "I love this anime and manga, Brings a different prospective of the manga, Most enjoyable anime to watch." All these words come from the heart not brain, I love it 5 Stars Forever! Aka I am hoping there will be more episodes and more manga chapters

pure hearted fun for everybody with a heart
I loved every minute of this anime. Such a pleasant surprise this season. It's not just about teasing. There is some obvious psychological subtext here regarding their relationship and the funny but often quite relatable ways they dance around their feelings, It's fun and cute on a shallow level but even more interesting if you go a bit deeper. At any rate, every episode put a smile on my face and ...

    The Best Slice of Life.
This show is impossible to watch without smiling.

Takagi is always teasing her seating neighbor Nishikata in school. Nishikata constantly tries to get back at her to no avail. Takagi is Next Level. She's always on Level 11, 4th Dimension, 5 Steps ahead of Nishikata. He is always angry when she gets the best of him, but he also kind of likes her. Unbeknownst to him, she secretly loves him as ...

We can all relate to this
Its a series about love in the form of unrelenting teasing. Karakai Jozu is the perfect title for a series that reminds us all about those old loves that started with a tease or a prank. There is a manga sequel where they are adults that I hope also becomes an anime.

    A breath of fresh air
When I saw the genres on MAL iI genuinely fell out of my chair since it was literally everything I wanted for an anime. It's the first anime in a while to take a different approach to a love story filled with adorable moments that can really speak to you depending on how human you are.
