Episode one, Is it worth watching?
Simple answer, yes. Longer answer, while the most things in this show so far hold up well enough to be entertaining, there is a slight failing in depth. The show shines visually and in its battle sequences, but that being said I don't think I will be getting emotionally involved with any of the characters. Yet to restate a point this show is very beautiful. The animation is not hand drawn, but for ...

this appears to be an epic show based on the video game: TOUKEN RANBU.
This is a pure action series so far. Featuring a master, Kane, and a novice, Kunihiro, time-travelling samurai from the year the year 2205,
The animation is excellent (although mixed with 3D) and the art is good, the voice acting is acceptable; the only downside is the ...

    if you like the game
you'll like the anime. I really like that we're getting action this time rather than slice of life stuff that Hanamaru was (it was cute but didn't really keep my attention). The animation is really smooth and pretty, I love it. even if it's not "hand-drawn" (whatever that's suppose to mean since everything is still technically drawn by someone, they didn't just press a button and poof there's a ...

    Touken Ranbu: Epicness after 1
The animation-gasm only produced by studio Ufotable will smack you right where it counts in the first episode, which is all the series can be judged by at this time. Will this series fall short of the mark like other Ufotable game adaptations (here's lookin at you Tales of Zestria). Have they learned from their mistakes when it comes to world building and character development resulting in a well ...

Action packed great animation poor story really really generic characters
This shows first couple episodes can pretty much sum up the rest of how this anime will go but thats not a guarantee this anime could still surprise you.
Katugeki is at first a very very pretty and well animated anime but to make this quick and short, the story and characters kind of suck especially since they are stereotypical hot anime dudes. So if you liked shows like Free you will probably ...

Unbelievably Boring for the good reviews I saw
Drags rather slowly with endless paradoxes, also plenty of long names I don't care to try and remember. I having a hard time trying to even want to watch past the second episode after the long boring introductions of plain characters, and mediocre attempt at a show based around the concept of time travel and changing the course of history, the butterfly effect of just one death of someone at a ...

    If you play the game...
I love this anime mainly because I've been playing this game for about a year. If you've played the game you'd love both of the animes. Only anime watchers... well that depends what you're into. If you're a guy who's not into hot anime boys fighting then I don't recommend it. The game itself does not have much of a plot so creating one from scratch was difficult according to the producer. The ...

Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu- Great Sword Action and a Pretty Captivating Plot
Probably some of the best fighting and animation this season, definitely recommended if you enjoy shows such as Fate/zero. Characters seem fun with distinct personality, as well as an animal mascot that's actually likable, and not irritating as hell. The dynamic rivalry between the 2 poster characters seems great, and has a lot of room for growth throughout the series, much like Kikuhiko and ...

Beautiful animation, not much plot or character development
Man, these guys are bishie-dorable and totally shippable. The artwork is just gorgeous. But...

Where is the story? Where are the characterizations? The fighting is fine, but I'm getting bored watching it. We got a tiny bit of growth in the last episode with a little infighting, but it seemed resolved quicker than the blink of an eye. Characters rail against fate, but that's about it.

    I'm ...

I have started watching this after Day 1 of anime expo. and continued watching this show as of now. this is a really good animation that ufotable made. It may or may not have a good start in my opion, but the series gets even better and better. so i'm impressed. i'm continuing watching this. Cant wait for the next ones to come.
