  • Over the top action from the masters who gave us Gurren Lagann
What can be said about kill la kill? Well, it follows an arc similar to gurren lagann, won't spoil it, and this kind of arc is where trigger really shines. They use a fairly banal setting (relatively, of course) to present the world and the characters, then they just blow everything up with a hydrogen bomb to take these characters that the viewers grew attached to in a epic story that, while ...

I should probably be looking for a deep metaphor in all this...
...but I'm too busy laughing. This show is genuinely absurd and totally worthy of your time. The ending was a bit drawn out but other than that, pretty amazing.

I've already recommended this to a friend of mine. He's 5 episodes in and is not entirely convinced this wont suddenly turn into porn. It doesn't. It just isn't ashamed of a little "naked time".

  • Good, interesting, but well.....Fanservice.
Kill la Kill is...interesting, if nothing else. A story driven on the themes of wearing what you want to wear, and don't be ashamed of your body, combined with Tigger's out of control fight scenes and symbolism, and you have a very unique anime. A lot of people were going in hoping for something like Gurren Lagann since it is made by people who worked on Gurren Lagann, but Kill La ...

  • Not Your Business as Usual Anime Series- But A Must Watch
Hands down this series blows away most one season shows, and it embraces a philosophy of nakedness seriously across genders, a rare thing these days in the over-sexed female anime world. The character design and costume adaptations throughout the show are great, and the show never ceases to amuse. A powerful story of friendship and sacrifice hidden in a naked, bloody adventure of epic proportions! ...

  • twist la twist la twist
Another success from Trigger! At first you may think it's just fan service but trust me just watch a little longer and you won't even notice it because the story is just that good. As the title suggests it's full of some crazy twists that you'll never expect and it comes with an ending I feel most will be satisfied with.

    KILL LA KILL..........
I honestly was pretty skeptical, because I usually prefer serious, psychological anime. However, kill la kill has the type of animation that can pull anyone in. The colors, plot, and characters make a nice humor-action story with a ton of likability.
The only issue I have is the blatant fan service....kind of excessive at times and uncalled for.
Otherwise, I enjoyed this show very much and ...

    Hilarious work of art
One of the most ridiculous animes I've need in a while. In the first few episodes, I thought that there wouldn't be much plot and the creators were mostly focuses on sexualizing female roles, but I was mistaken. I was laughing and at the edge of my seat up until the last episode. If you have any anime depression from watching a serious series this will totally alleviate you symptoms. The story ...

    It was pretty good!!
I know, I might be down voted for this, but hey--it's my opinion.I should be able to express that.

Kill La Kill was good, just not my cup of tea. I, am the person that loves good animation, and kill la kill...it had good animation, but not the best, and I probably enjoyed it more, if the characters looked a little better.

Also, the actual story, was okay. It had a nice plot, but the way ...

  • KILL la KILL: The Clothes Make the [wo]Man!
Kill la Kill is the debut television series from relatively new Studio Trigger (Inferno Cop, Little Witch Academia). The company was founded by Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann, Panty & Stocking, Dead Leaves) and Masahiko Otsuka when they decided to leave the legendary animation studio Gainax (Neon Genesis Evangelion, FLCL, Gurren Lagann)..

Kill la Kill is the story of Ryuko ...

  • It's as good as all your friends say it is
This was my favorite anime that's come out in the last two years. I would have watched a lot of other stuff like AoT and Sword Art, but I decided upon this show to start off my fall anime watching. I had read a bit about it online, and it caught my attention, but I honestly had my expectations far from how awesome it ended up being. It's exciting storyline, stunning backdrops, perfect sound ...
