god came down from heaven and said: LET THERE BE COSPLAY
because this show is 100% A-1 "please let there be hot chicks wearing this stuff at the next con or at least on google images" source material.

that aside, if you can look past the pretty frequent annoying yelling that happens (why on earth anyone ever things Straight Up Yelling is actually *content* i will never understand), it's a dang awesome show with a beginning and an end, and good ...

  • Probably my favorite anime
I have never seen such a well done anime. I was weirded out in the start but after that it just kept on getting better and better. The fight scenes are totally awesome and the characters are really well executed. You fall in love with the characters from the start. I even cried at the end. Its totally worth the watch.

  • One of The Best Animes I've Seen In A While
I just finished this show last weekend and wow. It was a long journey. I loved it through and through. If you can handle the partial nudity of this anime(which all otakus should be used to) it is a really good anime with a moving plot. The animation was beautiful and the characters were creative and hilarious. This one is going to stay in my memory for a long time. Thanks, Crunchyroll!

  • The Art of Using/Wearing Less
Kill la Kill is all about the art of using less, sometimes it pulls it off masterfully, like in the first episode where the giant explosions pop in a single frame leaving a giant crater and some screen shake for impact, other times they use it for maximum comedic effect like with Ryuko's school friend Mako's dialogue -switching between 3 poses, with 2 frames each- to enemies flying ...

Go watch Gurren Lagann. It's pretty much the same thing done much better.
Seriously, there is literally no point in watching this. I know it sounds harsh, but this show really is devoid of any kind of substance. The characters, with the exception of Satsuki and Ragyo are one-note and throwaway. The animation is completely inconsistent. The show has no overall backbone or sense of direction to how it wants to pan out, opting to just throw gratuitous action scenes and ...

  • DAT CREATIVITY, DOE.
Using SCISSOR BLADES of all things as the protagonist's weapon? Nice!

Anyway, this show is INSANELY messed up (unless you like seeing...well u know), but still, the plotline, weapons, characters, and just the overall theme makes up for the akward...stuff...

So, yeh. 4 of 5 stars to this one.:D

  • Not a show for everyone, but great none the less!
There are two options with this show, you either love it or hate it. There are a few in the middle who find things they like and also dislike about it, but for the most part the opinions are polar.

If you like over the top exaggerated animation, action and storytelling then Kill la Kill may be for you.
If you can shut your brain off through the length of the show and simply enjoy it for what ...

  • 5 Star that's why. This anime will leave you wanting more.
I see a lot of 4 stars saying it is good but I personally think this anime is amazing. This by far is my 2nd favorite anime since cowboy bebop is my first. If you love anime you will love this. Give it a try trust me it is worth it. Kill la Kill will suck you and make you cry for a second season.

  • Full to the brim with symbols
This is one of a few shows that manage to fill itself full of symbols without any real single interpretation of the massages behind it and still retains being a twist on a magical girl anime. The same insane fighting scenes that can be expected of Trigger with a deeper meaning in this overall good story with well-rounded characters. At first it may seem like a stupid anime with lots of fighting, ...
