    Absolutely Well Written Anime
At fiirst, this may seem to be an anime solely about fan service. It is. On top of an extremely convoluted and well laid plot.

Honestly, what got me about the whole series was all of the foreshadowing. Even the ending titles from the first half of the series was foreshadowing the eventual season finale's end! Incredible!

Moving past all of the fanservice, this is a really loving anime. About ...

I have never before been moved to tears of joy by a screen full of naked people
I have never before been moved to tears of joy by a screen full of naked people until I watched Kill la Kill. When I first found this anime I was looking for something different to watch and enjoy and from the first episode I knew that this anime would be a trip that would take me to unknown places.

Watch this anime, enjoy it, and give praise that we live in a world were such art can exist.

    The daughter of Gurren Lagann
Just finished the anime, so now I can breath again.
If you know anything about Gurren Lagann and the team behind it, then you should already have an idea of what you are getting into... but for those who don't, let me explain further.
This anime is filled with fast-paced over the top action and crazy plot. You need to be glued to the screen to catch every detail that this show offers.
    It has ...

  • Absolute Awesomeness
I was glued to this series on the fist 2 minutes of it! Ryuko is such a great character and through the whole series all you see is great Character Development and over all success and shocking plot-twists! I totally loved this series to the end, I love its originality too. The best i've seen in a long while! It's humor and plot are the very best things about this series. I Just finished it a few ...

    TRIGGER brings their A-Game
Does Kill la Kill live up to the hype and the expectations? I would honestly state that it does, and makes for an exciting ride. Attempting to explain the series to someone in simple terms doesn't do this insane and thrilling series justice. Clothing makes the superman, as the trope goes and it was never more true than in this series. Fanservice is a major element, but manages to be woven into the ...

  • Above my initial expectations
After seeing the first episode I was not sure about wanting to continue watching, but after a couple of them I discovered this series went beyond to what I initially expected. It has good plot twists and a very dynamic animation. I liked the drawing and animation style. One of the best and maybe original animes I've seen in the last couple of years.

  • Very good - decent anime!
The feelssssss!! Just as I had predicted.. Ending was good to okay.. As far as the fight went... I thought it was a tad weak compared to when satsuki and ryuko duked it out on the 3rd episode.. As much as I really liked this anime.. I'd give this anime a 8/10 only because I felt like the ending could've been better.. The plot twists and crazy shit that was happening is what kept me watching.. The ...

A show about alien clothing? How would that be good? O.O ... oh that's how.
Studio Trigger has come into the world with a bang. From the outfits, to the characters, to the main plot, Kill la Kill is a show that is outrageously blunt and over the top about absolutely everything. It's also a show that, if taken seriously, would be unbelievably stupid, but due to the masterful writing and execution, it comes off as amazingly epic and worth watching. Never before has a show ...

  • This has to be the most out of control thing I have seen in a long time
This show is absolutely out of control and I love every minute of it. It completely embraces the lunacy of anime and contorts any and all norms we thought we knew. This. Is. Amazing. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time and yet been so engrossed. I love it.

  • Not so much a show but a coming out party
You would not be wrong if you said Kill la Kill was the female driven counterpart to the male machismo of Gurren Lagann but that would also be selling it short for how well it stands in its own right. That being said, its not for everyone. The entire show can be summed up by saying it is studio Tigger's coming out party. Trigger's first TV animation is a celebration of the story telling power that ...
