    awesome simplicity triumphs
I like this show particularly because it ISN'T flashy or fast-paced or overly dramatic. It's just regular kids who each have their own problems, and the introduction of some extraordinary circumstances which simply cause the characters to face their own personal issues (not fight demons or anything like that). It doesn't hurt either that it's very well and consistently animated.

    Idea Trumps The Excecution
This was my first media experience with body-swapping, I was enthralled, and couldn't wait to see this show blossom and its characters fleshed out, but the attractive idea of connecting hearts in this way became a tool to make a simple, cookie cutter anime that if your on CR, you don't need to see again, and if your new to anime, isn't a good representation of what CR and all anime can offer.

  • Worth Watching Over and Over
This show has great characters with an interesting plot line that makes the show focus on the relationships of the five students as they connect in a special way. Though the situations aren't realistic, the way they feel about each other is. You really fall in love with them all and feel sad, mad, or happy with the group. It has a great look to it as well that is very clean and concise.

Kokoro Connect uses a 'hit' cast to explain the different sides of human nature and friendship.
Kokoro Connect is an excellent adaption of a visual novel series which is backed by the type of cast of character that tends to be a 'hit' with fans. The series uses the relationship between these five characters as the main focus of the story, and uses very smart use of soundtrack and slice of life events to turn up the drama when the time calls for it. It offers three ending and two opening song ...

A Character Driven Deconstruction at its finest (Spoiler Free)
It's rarely the case that the concept of something like body swapping is handled well. Granted, writers land the part of having to understand what it's like to literally be in someone else's shoes, but let an artistic license serve as an excuse as to why they don't even bother going into what comes with the package. This is not one of those cases.

Kokoro Connect is a Light ...

    Story That Connects Friends
In a nutshell, this story is about deepening the connections between friends. It starts off as a funny high school comedy but quickly turns into a heart probing drama. The protagonist who instigates the drama is strange as is the methods he uses to "connect" the group. One must watch the entire series to see the ultimate effects, and intentions, of the "strange instigator." There are three ...

    My review on Kokoro Connect
It’s bloody amazing, I’ll tell you that! The idea of the anime, the art, OH MY GOD it’s fabulous! Just with the pre-aired episode being released in this site I CANNOT wait until a new episode pops up, I’ve never been excited for an anime more than this. You should definitely make sure to watch this whenever the episodes start popping up The story starts with the five members of the ‘Culture ...

OH MY GOD. ONE OF THE BEST I'VE SEEN
It's sad, so touching and emotional. This group of friends have such a strong bond together. I feel like they can withstand any obstacles that come at them. The chracter back stories really bring out some insecurities that people can relate to. I love this anime. I've cried to much you could probably fill a pool with my tears. This is different than any slice-of-life anime. There's are twists that ...

  • Good and engaging story, turned out to be more than what I expected. Good show.
Kokoro Connect's story was a real surprise. At first it looked like a regular anime about students but when the whole body swapping began and continued to develop I was surprised. I was expecting the body swapping to be the theme on the entire show but it wasn't, which was very satisfying as I did wonder how will they continue the story based on that. The story trapped me immediately and made me ...
