It's fun to see the manga turned into an anime
Although certain liberties were taken with the anime that shouldn't have been allowed, fans of the manga will enjoy seeing the quirky characters of this series come to life in this anime. Hopefully future episodes will focus less on her physical features and more on each character's individual eccentricities that make the manga so interesting, even if many are cliche.

So bewbs. And then Komori just can't decline people.
Komori-san can't decline, but she may need to learn to start, judging by the people she lives around.

Komori is a giant middle-schooler with huge breasts and a very adult figure. She's a modest girl with super-human strength, who likes to be helpful, but is usually taken advantage of by her peers. No matter where she goes, people are always asking her to do mundane chores for them, or lift ...

Komori has much to teach us
Komori-san can't decline is a very short anime with a lot to offer up front. The first thing you notice about this show, the very first thing, is how much the main character has to give. I would make her carry a box.

It's not that long, and, anyway, what are you doing that's so important?

You probably could decline this, even at two minutes. It's sloppy.
Normally, I love these short shows. Over the last few years, they have provided interesting, quick ideas that were nice to watch, but not enough to sustain a full episode. The thing that all of the successful short shows have in common in that they are tightly produced. Characters are clean and crisp, animation is fluid, voice acting is solid, and the music helps the mood and the story. ...

    It could have been worse?
I watched in the hope that it wasn't as bad as the "poster" and the title suggest. The most noticeable thing about the poster is BOOBIES. Guess what gets a ton of airtime? And they have sound effects when they bounce! >.<

The title suggests a girl who can't say no, wink, wink, nudge, nudge, say no more. Thankfully the requests are all non-creepy. Classmates ask for help. Teachers ask her ...

Literally the Worst Protagonist Design Ever
    Story: 4/10
Honestly, despite the time constraints, despite the grotesque and painful character design of the protagonist, I feel as though there could have been a genuinely interesting and engaging plotline in Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! However, instead of doing what some short animations do where they split one premise across the episodes making one 20-minute story, we get really quick and ...

  • Super comfortable to watch
The extreme shortness is, as always, a bit disappointing, but I enjoyed the characters and plots, cliches and all. I like the interactions between the four main characters. It feels about as fleshed out as a 2 minute anime can get.

Super cute, super sweet, doesn't do anything wrong, but doesn't push the envelope on anything at all.

    3.5/5

  • In a word Komori-san is Used.
This isn't a long series but a collection of animated shorts that focus around Komori-san and her ability or lack of declining request, tasks and favors. She is a stand out character who has a ample bosom and seems only to serve others and only truly feels happy when she is helping someone else.

The show is short and the episodes shorter still but even in the shows limited time they show off a ...

  • Tall Girl & Short Show
Short anime have been finding their niche in recent seasons, and this show, about a young lady who is unable to not help the people around her, is a good example. It manages to fit just enough plot and laughter into a very short time frame to be worth a quick watch between other shows. Granted, it is no Strange +, but it is not a dud like Sparrow's Hotel, either, and ...

  • I Can't Decline Either!
This series is made by the same person who made I Can't Understand What My Husband is Saying. The episodes are short and the characters aren't very complex, yet I found myself eagerly waiting week after week for the latest adventures of Komori-san and her friends. The series is rather enjoyable if you're looking for a short show to watch.
