Not a bad adaptation.

Cliche to say, but the book was better! The show could have stood to have some better direction and pacing, and less music and melodrama. It's actually all right besides, though! Has one of the better depictions of gay men in anime, but that's not saying much giving the medium's consistently poor representation of the demographic. Again, not the best, but there are much, MUCH worse out there. Consider giving it a shot. Hopefully we will someday see more adaptations of Antique Bakery's original author's work such as "What Did You Eat Yesterday?" or "The Moon and Sandals".

Not long a go, I've watched this anime and i fell in love with it. And I think I gonna open a bakery in the future! XD

It's a story about an Antique Bakery, is a small bakery that's run by four handsome man. Tachibana, the owner. Chikage, who was send by Tachibana's family to watch over his childhood friend. Ono the "demonically charming" gay master pastry chef. And Kanda, a former boxer and Ono's apprentice.

This story has a little bit of yaoi but just until kissing. =3= And those cakes and dessert that Ono made was so beautiful and it's looked like very yummy! Whenever I saw it... My saliva all comes out... hoho =w= It's really is an awesome anime! They even teach you how to bake the bread, how to decorate the plate of the dessert and such. Inside the shop, it's super pretty and big. And the most important thing is 4 of the characters is so hot and handsome! OwO The girls is pretty too. heh

Both of the opening and the ending of this anime is sang by CHEMISTRY. Love it so much! >w<

Hilarious characters, wacky situations, CAKES! LOTS OF CAKES! It made my dreams come true! XD I love cakes and sweets, this anime makes you hungry XD The characters are awesome, LOVE the "gay of the demonic charm".... if you're not into Shounen-ai, don't watch! D:
