Summary
Jan Di is an average girl whose family owns a dry cleaning store located near the luxurious and well known Shin Hwa College. Jan Di meets the four richest and most spoiled boys, F4, when she delivers laundry to the school one day. After saving a boy from committing suicide, she is admitted into the school. An incident involving Jan Di's friend, Min Ji, forces her to declare war on the leader of the F4, Goo Joon Pyo.

One of the three mean girls of Shinhwa High named Sunny, who was played by Jang Ja-yeon committed suicide last March 7, 2009.The F4 who were played by Lee Min Ho, Kim Hyun-joong, Kim Bum and Kim Joon including the actress who played Geum Jan Di who was Koo Hye Soon went to a series of car accidents.
The Boys Before Flowers soundtrack was well recieved by many fans. With songs inluding some of which the cast sang such as Kim Hyun Joong (played Yoon Ji-Hoo) with his group SS501 producing the song "Because I'm Stupid". This song became the drama's signature with it playing at many moments in the drama. Other songs include Kim Joon (played Song Woo Bin) with his band T-Max as well as the poplar music group SHINee featuring in the soundtrack.
