Candy

Candy were originally formed in 1992 in Kuching, they renamed and were bought to KL in 1996. They were entered into the Malaysian book of records as the first all female rock band in Malaysia. Candy found fame with their first album “Candy”, which went Platinum, the hit single “Akan Ku Tunggu” was released in 1997. Their second album “Hot” was released in 1999 and they plan to start work on their 3rd album shortly. The band has played extensively in both East and West Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. With radio and TV appearances in all these countries and music videos in Malaysia. Candy favour large concerts, one off appearances or functions, but have played longer hotel bookings in Malaysia. Their style is Rock, but this can be ‘softened’ as appropriate, for dinner functions etc.
