Clash

Clash is one of the most popular Thai rock bands in Thailand today. The band signed to UP G Records in 2001 and up until now, they have released 5 albums, 2 greatest hits albums, and 2 special acoustic albums.

These new kids on the block first united together under the name “LUCIFER”, in order to participate in the 2nd and 3rd Hot Wave Music Awards Contests. After wining a few prizes from the competitions, they had a chance to join UP G record company in 2001, releasing their first album, “ONE”, changing the band’s name to “CLASH”. Their opening single, “Gode (Hug)”, which was composed by Bank, the band’s vocals leader, led this young group to success in a very short time. Moreover, the “Best Rock Song” position from Seesan Awards 2002 for the song “Love Scene” could also clearly guarantee the proficiency of the band. CLASH came back again two years later with the second album, “Soundshake” which contains eight songs that were composed by Bank. This album was still accompanied with many hits, such as, “Ther Ja Yoo Gab Chan Talod Pai (You’ll Be With Me Forever)” and “Khor Ched Nam Ta (Want to Dry Your Tears)”.
