Corner With Love

Story: This is a well known story line of two people who seemingly hate each other end up falling in love. It wasn't terribly original, but I just LOVED it! Xin Lei, a girl from a wealthy family, and Qin Lang, an aspiring artist, meet after they get into an accident. They bicker and hope to never see the other person again. Then, Xin Lei ends up going to the resteraunt that Qin Lang works at to learn how to cook to please her fiancee's mother. He helps, reluctently. Then Xin Lei's parents go bankrupt and, without telling her, go into hiding. Her fiancee, after his parents tell him to, brakes up with her and gets engaged to someone else. The only people she can trust now are Qin Lang and her best friend Xi Xian. Qin Lang then tells her he is going back to Taiwan, so they bid farewell, thinking they will never see each other again. But, after her ex-fiancee's parents persuade her to leave, she goes to Taiwan to a house that her parents indicated to go to in a letter to her. It just so happens that Qin Lang and his family are living in that house and that's when their love story truly begins.
Acting: Barbie Xu, as Xin Lei, is once again amazing. (I liked her in Meteor Garden, and LOVED her in Mars). She portrays one of the best rich brats I've ever seen. And her character development was fantastic. Show Lo, as Qin Lang, played his character perfectly. (I loved him in Hot Shot). He drew the audience in and was completely believable. When he cried it made the viewer want to cry with him. And on top of their great acting, they also had great chemistry.
Music: I loved the music, especially the friendship song! It was so cute!
Overall: A must watch for anyone who likes romance comedies!
