It's about a 14 year old boy named Niwa Daisuke who decents from a ancient family of thiefs among them the most famous of all Kaito Dark Mousy~

Once he turns 14 his life changes completly~ He so mets that so famous Dark & gets instored on his body & mind so they can switch places when facing danger ~ his Job his to collect (steal) all valious monuments and artfacts .
Niwa and Dark has to fight enemy against the other side of Dark (Light) Krad wich is inside of Hiwatari kun (a young smart boy friends with Niwa)
Niwa a naive and inocent boy falls inlove by Risa Harada but that love is not corresponded , so thanks to that love he keeps he can change to Dark form . But everything changes when he gets more involved with Riku Harada (twin older sister of Risa) he so changes completly and realise that Riku its his true Holly Maiden <3

When i listened to the opening of DN Angel on youtube i fell in love! It was a beautiful song!! And the background music was wonderful too!!

Daisuke Niwa was an average 14 year old until he figured out he was Dark Mousy; a phantom theif that steals painting sculptures and jewlery.

The characters are very creative and differntsome like fortune telling others like sports.

this is a goood anime that i would recemond to many people!! its short but loving! The ending is very sad though

I personally LOVED this anime. It had to be my favourite out of every anime I have seen. The storyline was great, the characters were awesome! Perfect anime to watch and it will leave you begging for more. I actually had stumbled upon it but wasn't to crazy about the storyline at first (a phantom thief who changes into his alter ego when he sees his crush was a little iffy to me) but after the first episode, wow! I could not put my computer down for a second. While I watched it, I was excited to watch more and all I could think about while I wasn't watching it was finding a way to sneak back and watch some more. The music is amazing. Opening title True Light is now my favourite anime song and I now have it on my ipod and listen to it non-stop. The characters are soo cute and I love them all! Especially Daisuke and Dark! Anyway, I recommend this anime to watch if you haven't seen it yet. I'm already watching it for the second time haha!

Well all I have to say is that it has been a very LONG time since an anime/manga could give me goosebumps.
I was really shocked because I expected this anime to be pretty decent but I didn't actually think that it was capable enough to actually give me goosebumps (and more than once) lol it was really awkward? but anyways.
This anime is a really great show, although some parts throughout the show I wanted to punch a couple of the characters for being so naive and reckless but that's what the characters are supposed to be and the ending was quite satisfying by me because I also haven't seen a single decent ending to a show in a while (especially the ones that end with one season). Everything was so greatly put together I was pretty impressed, but there were still flaws but no need to judge. The fact that this whole anime involved a shy boy who was trained to be a professional thief was the thing that actually got me to WATCH the show in the first place lol I LOVE master mind theives teehee jk. I have to admit that Dark(main character) is pretty hot for a fictional person hehe xD but if you seriously like Romance, Drama, Suspense, and Super-Natural activity all in one then GO WATCH THIS ANIME RIGHT NOW! lol
overall I happily give this show a rate of 10 out of 10

I loved this series - even the fillers. I was sad when it ended - especially the way it did, I am currently aspiring to read the manga - but back to the anime. I liked the originality and the storyline - not just the part of the stolen items but also the storyline of the school kids life and the possible love interest - although there was yaoi implied - it didnt happen but it was quite funny to watch, and making such a serious [at times] anime funny is good - but only if its done in the right times - which it was done here..
i cant help but think that some parts of the animation could have been better especially darks hair.


but that is really the only complaint....

After seeing this anime, you will never look at angels the same way ever again! The story of D.N Angel is very exciting and is packed with tons of action. The characters are really well-developed, especially Daisuke and his alter-ego, Dark the angel. You will fall in love with both of these characters in the first episode! The one thing I love most about this anime is that it always kept me on my toes! I was so impressed with the fluidity of the plot and the animation! And of course, what kind of anime doesn't have romance? Daisuke and Riku are the sweetest! Although I wanted the ending to be slightly different, I wasn't disappointed with it too much. I loved this anime and will definitely watch it again!

I overall loved dn angel. This show was about a 14 year old boy named daisuke niwa. His family has a secret that every 40 years when the son turned 14 he would become the legendary phantom theif dark. Now its is turn. To make things worse every time he sees the girl he loves he turns into dark.

Daisuke Niwa lives in an ordinary town, goes to an ordinary school, and is a pretty ordinary guy. He even has a crush on a beautiful girl in his class, Risa Harada. However, one day, when he was thinking about Risa (who had rejected his love), he suddenly feels pain all over his body, and collapses. When he wakes up, he realizes that his face morphed into the face of Dark Mousy, a famous thief that had mysteriously disappeared 40 years ago. His mother and his grandfather tell him that the Niwa family has always been the host of Dark Mousy, and that their job is to steal the cursed artwork of the the Hikari family, and purify them.
So now, it is finally Daisuke Niwa's turn to be Dark Mousy!

Okay, on with the review.

The storyline was amazing, and had totally blew me away. All of the characters were well developed, and most of them were likable. With a full developed plot, and great characters, you have a good all-around anime.
The music is great. Every song helps the viewer understand the anime more, and has an overall 'feel' of the anime. The opening, I must say, is great in both English and it's original Japanese version. It draws you in with ease. The music is thrilling at thrilling moments, and sad at sad moments, just like it should be.
The animation is okay, I guess. Everything is fluid and smooth, and okay to look at, but not exactly 'wow' or 'spectacular'.

Overall, this anime is great, and definitely an anime for an Anime Newbie to see. I recommend it to all.
