Overview
Dance Army was formed as a temporary group in 2001 with a handful of vocal hopefuls from record company RS Promotion, headed by Gumpun, from the then-recently disbanded Bazoo. With ten energetic dance-pop numbers on their self-titled debut album, they took Thai pop fans by storm. Though they were supposed to be just a temporary group for the one album, they were such a hit that by popular demand, RS brought them back together for a second album entitled "Dance War" in 2003. Unfortunately, shortly after that, the group was disbanded indefinitely after two of its members gathered multiple rumors of homosexuality and drug abuse. Toh is currently studying in the US, and Gumpun is rumored to be working on a new lakorn as of 2007.
