Fast-paced, stylish, and sexy
The Dead or Alive series is a true gem in the fighting genre. Most fighters can be repetitive dull, slow, and boring. The DOA games are notorious for their fast paced combos, creative maneuvers, hardcore guys and gorgeous gals. The counter system is as complicated as it is satisfying. New players quickly learn that mashing buttons can get you KO'd if you are countered successfully. The arenas are harmful, the designs are beautiful and the graphics are stunning.
Overall, the Dead or Alive series, especially the newer installments, are worth playing and trump many fighting games out there today.
