i saw this movie at anime expo 2005 and i loved it! it's a shame that it's not available online for us to watch and be left with the series.

This, in my opinion, is THE BEST contemporary Japanese movie that I've seen thus far, and I've watched a lot. LOVE IT. Takayuki Yamada is a stellar actor. Check him out in Tegami (The Letter) too. I watch this movie on a regular basis.

The fact that it is actually based on a true story makes it that much better to watch. The forum-goers pushing Densha Otoko along for his sake and their own was also inspiring. Entertaining and funny at times. Grade A enjoyment.
