Digimon Adventure

My favorite anime series. I wouldn't compare it with Pokemon, because the storyline and animation is nothing, I repeat; NOTHING like Pokemon. So we can all shut up and forget about that silly quarrel that STILL seems to go on today, okay? :)

My favorite character is Yagami Taichi (more commonly known as Tai Kamiya in America), holder of the crest of courage.
My second favorite is Takenouchi Sora/Sora Takenouchi, holder of the crest of love.
My third favorite is Yagami Hikari (more commonly known as Kari Kamiya in America), holder of the crest of light.

Digimon strikes my heart with its brilliance and makes me feel very nostalgic. I prefer the subbed version to the dubbed, although the dubbed version really isn't all that bad.

Digimon is a must-see anime if you love adventures. Sure this anime is pretty predictable, but all the characters fit in place. This anime will want you to keep watching until the adventure is done. It shows the importance of believing in eachother and not giving up. Though that sounds pretty cheesy, I have to admit this anime gives you the kiddish feel, wanting you to be a 10-year-old again. Even though there are 5 very different seasons in this series, my opinion is the 1st and original season beats the rest to the punch.

Digimon has been out for a really long time,like from 1999 (ten years :D)
It has a great storyline,and so many different characters.It's hard to get bored of it.

It's about 7 characters(and later 8)that go to a digital world and find that each one has a digital monster.Things start to get complicated,and the kids can't get out of all this,so they go on,on a "digital" adventure!

The first season in my opinion is the best one.I think it's a must-watch

When I was little, I really loved the show and would sit and watch it a lot. I still like it a bit but it does leave me in one of those feelings that the story line was not really thought out. From what I heard, the story was going to end after 12 episodes and then the story line was much loved that they made more. For a while, they did rather well but as they kept going, they messed up a little. I fell in love with one character and the others were somewhat side stepped for me but each character had there screen time and were fleshed out pretty well though I would of liked more about there pasts. A lot of the bad guys seemed really crazy and bad for bad’s sake, not having any real reason to be that way, just was and even what they wanted to do was without purpose or goal. The English voices are alright but some of them bounce all around and mess up especially for the not so important roles though the main characters seem ok. If I have to listen to Mimi crying though, someone will get hurt. I loved Matt of all characters with his little brother a close second, and now I grew up with the English characters so some of these characters have different names in the Japanese version. I have only watched very little of the Japanese versions and I have noticed that since some of the scenes are.... well, not kid friendly according to those that put the dub out, some of the episodes were cut to take out things about dying, pain, and a couple other things ‘children should be clueless to.’ Strange because even as a small child, I knew what was happening to the characters without anyone saying anything, so the change that they did was unneeded.

I really love 'DIgimon Adventure;. I really like watched anime this from long before. I love the storyline. And, i love all main character. Especially, Yagami Hikari and Yagami Taichi. I like the all digimon. And, i like the theme spng. Especially, Keep On by Ai Maeda.
I was very sad on the end of the story. Like that The Eight DigiDestined Children came to their home. Parting from their digimons. And that was saddest, Palmon hid from Mimi .
