Overview
Dog Days is a 2011 Japanese fantasy anime television series produced by Aniplex under the direction of Keizou Kusakawa. The series will begin its broadcast run starting on April 2011. The story is about a boy named Sink, who is summoned to an alternate world by the Princess Millhiore in order to defend Millhiore's country from the neighboring kingdom of Garrett.

When Sink gets there, He learns that he summoned to serve as a "Hero" in the Battle against Garrett. Shortly after Sink gets a weapon he was given a magic ring by Millhiore, that can change matter and reconstruct it as a weapon. He then teams up with the Knight Captain, I think it is later introduced into the show that at least 2 females in the show hold romantic feelings towards him
