The author of Emma really did their homework when they created this little gem. Though the story may seem slow to those unaccustomed to this type of genre, it fits the time period perfectly. The characters are well rounded and thought out well. It has the appropriate type and amount of romance considering the characters positions in accord to the customs of the time. For all who enjoy the accuracy of historical anime this is not one to pass over. If you liked this first season you definitely have to see the second season as well!

I basically love Emma. It's oh so romantic, I watched it when I was a young girl and fell in love with this anime. I'm always lost for words when I watch this anime. I would advise people to watch this because it's got a lot of romance in it, a little bit of sadness if I recall. I love this anime oh so much and if you have a chance please watch it~!! It's a must-watch anime in my opinion!
