Eyes Rutherford (アイズ・ラザフォード, Eyes Rutherford?) is a fictional character from the anime and manga series Spiral: Suiri no Kizuna. He is voiced by Akira Ishida in Japanese and by John Burgmeier in the English dub.

Description

Eyes Rutherford is a Blade Child that was born in England. He is a 17-year-old pianist who debuted in the music world at the age of 14. He cares a great deal about the Blade Children and is determined to help them survive at all costs. During his childhood, Eyes grew up and learned quite a bit from his friend and fellow Blade Child, Kanone Hilbert. At one point, though, the two split away from each other because of their differences in opinion about the fate of the Blade Children. However, he still loved Kanone like he would his own brother. In the manga, Eyes said that although all the Blade Children are related by blood, he would address only Kanone as 'brother'. Some of Kanone's influence on Eyes could be seen through how Eyes would carry dried sardines in his coat on random days to feed to cats (Kanone was an avid lover of cats).
