Fate Stay Night

One of the most kickass Visual Novels ever

It has an amazing story line (3 story lines because of the different routes, with each story line having 2 possible endings) which is backed up by an amazing soundtrack, and 3 beautiful heroines. Not much more could be said without spoiling the story, but this is one of the best Visual Novels of my generation.

Fate/Stay Night Review

Fate/Stay Night is an AMAZING anime. Adapted from a Visual Novel of the same name, it tells a story of a amateur magician named Emiya Shirou and his involvement in the Holy Grail War with the aid of a servant (who are fallen heroes from the past, future and legends) Emiya Shirou's servant is Saber, a cold character aiming to win the Holy Grail War. This anime features elements of several genres mainly action, fantasy, drama and romance. The anime has an amazing storyline which intrigues the viewer into wanting to watch more. The music sets the mood for scenes in the show from epic battle music to romantic sunset. The characters are full of diversity, Shirou has a good, protective nature, Saber has a calm and collective nature and many more traits like tsundere. The animation for a 5 year old anime (2006) is very good has all the artwork resembling a modern anime but is not great compared to anime works now but for 2006 you can't complain.
If you want an anime which you will remember watch this it hits the mark in every thing you want.

This anime totally blew me away. One of the best I have watched in a long time. The storyline was great. Everything about this anime was great except for a few annoying characters. Animation could have been better but it is still pretty good to watch. I hope there will be a second season because I didn't like the way it ended. Saber and shiro should not have parted in the end.

I stumbled upon this anime and although it has only 24 episodes, yet it is really nice!

The best thing is the character description in it...a boy named Shirou gets involved in the battle between humans and their servants for the holy grail.Only the strongest is supposed to win...and it also means to fight ones' friends for it.

Shirou's personality doesn't allow him to do that and neither does he act like a master to Saber, who becomes his servant..rather he treats her like his friend.Although there are differences between them both, yet they fight their way out of hard situations together, fighting side by side.Shiro is truly a gentleman. They befriend a girl named Rin Tosaka, who has Archer as her servant.Shirou has an ability similar to Archer's.They both can form metal objects by carefully copying the elements in correct ratio.

Near the end,Rin loses Archer in a fight for saving lives of everyone. That is a noble thing.
Overall,nice story and animation!

The story focuses on a boy named Emiya Shirou that discovers his father was a mage. He later acquired a servant named Saber and he was caught in a battle of the magi known as The Holy Grail War. It includes 7 servants and 7 masters in a fight to obtain the Holy Grail. The Holy Grail can grant the person any wish he/she likes but unknown to Shirou it also may bring about the fire which destroyed Fuyuki City a decade ago.

Really one of those anime that you just can't easily forget. Fate/Stay Night first appeared as a Visual Novel in the early 2004 and easily went up in sales as one of the fastest selling and best VN's of all time.
The anime features the Fate Route in the Visual Novel Game. Though the VN is labeled as an eroge, they removed those parts in the anime (there's still a bit of fan service though *wink*).

The story tells about a young boy known as Shirou Emiya. He was an orphan until he became adopted by a great sorcerer known as Kiritsugu Emiya. Then the Holy Grail War began, which is a series of battles amongst the strongest of sorcerers alive presently in order to obtain a special relic that is believed to grant all one's wishes. Shirou Emiya soon gets involve with in Holy Grail War where he acquires a Servant known as Saber during the process. The story revolves around journey Shirou faces during The Holy Grail War alongside Saber..

Honestly, I thought it was a nice anime. The chemistry between Shirou and Saber is adorable yet hidden. Its comedic, action packed and strategic with a nice background story behind it all.

I certainly enjoyed watching the series and I hope you too!

Thank you! :)
