Overview
Fighting Foodons, known as Martial Arts Cooking Legend Bistro-Recipe (格闘料理伝説ビストロレシピ, Martial Arts Cooking Legend Bistro-Recipe?) in Japan, is a manga and anime series.

The original Bistro Recipe comic was first serialized in Comic BomBom in September 1997[citation needed]. TV series first appeared in December 11, 2001 in NHK BS-2 satellite channel.

In the United States the series was dubbed by 4Kids Entertainment in cooperation with Enoki Films; Enoki Films held the license and contracted the dubbing to 4Kids. The series was aired on the FoxBox (now known as 4Kids TV). Chinese version was premiered on TVB Jade in Hong Kong, Fairchild TV in Canada starting on 22 May 2005.

Its theme song is a remix and a redub of Jacques Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld.
