They sure don't animate shows like this anymore, unlike most of the crap that has been rolled out in recent years. I truly applaude CR for putting such a beautifully done, raw, classic series into the hands of the public.

Today, on october 17 I finished watching all the episodes. It's been a long week constantly watching it in my quest to see all the important animes, the longest series and also the classics.

If you want to learn male speech of japanese that's one anime that is filled with it.

You can skip episode 79-83 because they are repeating the previous episodes in full without any change so it's like watching the show twice. Longest flahback in any anime.
