Flame of Recca

Recca is a cool guy! i mean look at him with his flame dragons including his father and one thing i admire his character of protecting his beloved princess. LOL. :DD the challenges in his life. he was able to face it and though he is super cool and awesome many are crazy over him including me as well.

The good news is, Flame of Recca is interesting as far as collecting the fire dragons go. The sad part is its story unfolds by way of the tried and tested, and hence, overused, template of a group of underdogs competing in a sort of martial arts tournament and ending up 'winning'. The ninja backstory is really good, and I personally like Kagerou's character, but the rest of the kids in the real world are a bit.... underdeveloped. Especially Yanagi. Can she, for once, not act like a damsel in distress?

Overall, Flame of Recca is one of my favorite anime shows ever because: 1) it's about fire; 2) its art is crisp for its era; and, 3) the skills of the other players in the tournament are actually well thought out. This show's downfall, in my opinion, is caused by its 'template' and its characters; Kurei and Fuuko were promising but....!

Still, it's a must watch - especially for those who want to relive the good ole days.

I think eveything in this is great i'm 100 perset with what Yume55 said.That is so very ture i think the anime Flame of Recca is realy well mad as well the characters are great i just love Karou he is so cute.Recca is a great hero he is realy strong and has no idea how stong he realy is.

What i think of this anime is that it is realy good.The storline is very well maded along with the cast of characters.Like the hero named Recca he is a great hero even for a ninaj.I'm saying it is a good anime becasue it not just old but what realy matter is that the story it slef is good and strong with a stong backgrond story to it and if you want to have a good anime or movie or show or book and so on you must have a good story and backgrond to it.
