Quite honestly, out of all the Korean dramas I have seen, this one floats to the top because it hits your feelings. To the core. You can feel the pain and angst of the characters. You can actually see the love blossom without unrealistic all-of-a-sudden-I'm-in-love scenarios.

The storyline does not involve any supernatural or ridiculous twists; just a story of how two individuals come together under special circumstances. I appreciate this series because of its simplicity. Bi and Song Hye-Kyo were perfect for their roles. The antagonists aren't purely malicious. You may hate them, but you will probably feel for them too.

I actually have nothing else to say. The music is also great--no unnecessary dramatic background music during scenes. Sometimes, just hearing the dialogue alone hits the spot.

Five stars. I've actually watched this twice. I wouldn't mind watching it another time.

The story about it .

FULL HOUSE - This drama was AMAZING I thought it was good from the beginning and it made me cry all the way through! Although I really didn't like how long it took for them to kiss or for Youngjae (Rains Character) to confess his love for Ji Eun. But that didn't bother me too much. I felt really bad for Min Hyuk who liked Ji Eun because he really wanted to be with her but I was rooting for her relationship with Rain lol. And I believe this is the show with "bra bitch" or Hye Won lol I hated her!!
Overall Full House was really really good, and anyone who likes a touching love story should watch this drama NOW :D
I also downloaded the song Why by Fate after watching this drama. It was the song that always played at the end of the episode, I ended up loving that song

The best Korea series I've seen! and I watch a ton!

This is hands down my favorite Kdrama! I usually prefer the sob dramas (is there any other kind?) but this one is hilarious! The bickering between the two main characters is typical, but it was just really cute because the characters were cute (physically). The guy friend is extremely handsome!

This isn't usually my genre of Kdramas (is there really any other type besides the ones that have eye cancer?), but it is hands down, my favorite kdrama ever!! WATCH IT. NOW!

A fairly typical drama....

Eh. I had only just become obsessed with Korean dramas when I started this one, and when I asked around, almost everybody instantly recommended this one, so I watched it. To be honest, it was cute, simple, straight-forward.... but nothing special. I could predict almost every twist, and there wasn't much brilliant acting. However, the interactions between the two main characters whenever they bickered were definitely very giggle-worthy.

But I still fail to see why this is so many people's favorite, sorry.

Full House is a 16-episode South Korean television drama broadcast by KBS in 2004. This is a televised version of a comic story. It is also known as "浪漫满屋" in China. A season 2 for Full House is said to be expected, and there has been 20 episodes written. It is to be expected to air in Autumn 2009.This drama attempts to answer the question of whether two people — a famous actor and an ordinary woman — can learn to love each other in a marriage agreed only on paper. It also explores the meaning of the family by presenting that no matter how hard the present may seem, the world is still a good place because of those who bring hopes into our lives through their presence alone.

This drama features diverse characters: considerate, caring, frank, patient, and sticking to life’s basic values. But no matter how different the personalities, everyone finds happiness in the end.

This drama is based upon a manhwa of the same title, Full House by the Korean cartoonist Won Sooyeon.

[edit] Plot summary
Han Ji-Eun (Song Hye Kyo) lives in a house called Full House, built by her father. She is an aspiring script writer. One day, two of her friends, for money reasons, trick her into believing she has won a free vacation, and while she is gone, they sell her house. On the plane, she meets Lee Young Jae (Rain), a famous actor. Through comedic events they get acquainted during her vacation, and when she returns, she discovers her house has been sold to him.
Though they don't get along with each other, as she is messy and he has a bad temper and likes cleanliness, they agree to live with each other. At first, Ji-Eun works as his maid in order to buy her house back, but later, because of Young-Jae's wish to make the love of his life, Kang Hye-Won (Han Eun Jung) jealous, they get married. They set up a contract for the marriage to last six months. During that time, complications arise and Ji-Eun and Young-Jae become attracted to each other. Also, Ji-Eun starts to feel a strong bond with Young-Jae's family. However, Young-Jae's bad temper, along with the romantic attentions of Yoo Min-Hyuk (Kim Sung Soo), Ji-Eun's handsome and friendly publisher, starts to create a rift between the couple. So does Hye-Won, who starts to feel jealous when she sees Young-Jae and Ji-Eun getting close. Eventually, Young-Jae and Ji-Eun get a divorce and he moves away.
When he returns, he realizes that Ji-Eun hasn't married yet and knows that he has fallen in love with her - and she with him. He proposes to her, this time for the right reasons, and finally, they get married for a second time.

This section describes a work or element of fiction in a primarily in-universe style. Please help rewrite it to explain the fiction more clearly and provide non-fictional perspective. (December 2008)

Han Ji-Eun Song Hye Kyo

Ji-Eun is the main female character of the drama. She is shown as an optimistic and cheerful girl, loyal to her friends. Though naive and not very smart, she is shown as a character with spunk and a good heart as displayed in her efforts to be a writer. Through the course of the drama, she slowly begins to fall in love with Young-Jae. She lives in a beautiful home named Full House (thus the inspiration for the title of the drama), which she inherited from her late parents. Her troubles starts when her closest friends trick her by sending her on a trip to Shanghai so they could sell her house behind her back and take the money. After Ji-Eun returns, she finds she has nowhere to go. The owner of the house is now movie star Lee Young Jae, whom she encountered earlier in Shanghai, and she agrees to become his wife and personal maid to work back ownership of her house.

Lee Young-Jae Bi (Rain)

Young-Jae is the leading male character and a popular Korean actor, especially around girls. Though appearing to be egotistic and stubborn, mostly to maintain his pride, he has secret unrequited feelings for his childhood friend, Hye-Won. However, this starts to change as he meets Ji-Eun and slowly falls in love with her. He also has a fragile relationship with his father, who is a doctor.

Kang Hye-Won Han Eun Jung

Hye-Won is a close family friend of Lee Young-Jae, knowing them since childhood. Working as a fashion designer, she also designs most of Young-jae’s clothes. With her rich family and attractive appearance, she is accustomed to attention from men, but has ever only loved Yoo Min-Hyuk, though she later falls for Young-Jae.

Yoo Min-Hyuk Kim Sung Soo

Min-Hyuk is a director of a large media company. Like Hye-Won, he is attractive and used to attention from women, sometimes portrayed as a playboy. He is smart, skillful and respected, but remains detached from most people because of his busy lifestyle. He is also close friends with Young-Jae, who confides in him his feelings for Hye-Won. Later he also starts developing feelings for Ji-Eun.

[edit] Filming location
Full House was filmed in the Gwangyeok-si area of Incheon. Located near Incheon International Airport, the place may be reached in a ten-minute boat ride from Sammok Harbor to this quiet, seashore getaway. Unlike other filming locations in Korea, this is an actual house. Made mostly of wood, this house, which is a private-owned vacation house, cost approximately the equivalent of one million United States dollars to be built. The beach front property looks out onto open waters, with elegant views that could be used on any postcard. Many fans of the miniseries make a pilgrimage to this now famous home.

Full House: Is Chemistry Really Enough?

Full House is a truly unique drama. And that is not because it has a revolutionary new storyline or a deep and involving cast of characters. In fact, it properly lacks those things more than anything. What makes Full House so unique, is that it is probably the only drama out there that survives and succeeds based solely on the performances and chemistry between the two leads. Put any other actors besides Rain and SHK in those roles and it is difficult to imagine this drama being the same.

The story of a rich and bratty playboy butting heads with a poor and feisty girl is all too well know. Just from hearing that description alone one can tell where the story will most certainly lead to. However, in a drama like this, it's not about the destination; it is about the journey. And it certainly is a very enjoyable journey at that.

Just seeing Rain and SHK go back and forth in their banter, however cliche it may be, is a winning ticket any day of the week. Don't come to this drama expecting award winning writing or originality. Instead, come to this drama expecting just about the greatest example of pure chemistry ever seen. And neither leads are too bad to look at either.

4/5 Must watch for lovers of romantic comedies, guilty pleasures, Rain and SHK.

For me FULL HOUSE is the most amazing and beautiful korean-drama I've ever watched!

I'ts amazing. I can relate to it even my Mom and my Dad. They love Full House.

Song Hye Kyo and Rain are the greatest love team I've ever watched!

It was like they're are the real characters.

I have watched it 20x but I never get tired of it..

The theme songs fit the drama and the story line is amazing..

Here in Philippines the GMA Production will be airing our very own version

of Full House.. Richard Gutierrez will play the role of Rain.

I'm very excited... I hope Marian Rivera will play the part of Han Ji-Eun..
