Gantz

The anime took too long to get through. The episodes could have been cut down in half, and still achieved the same desired effect. A lot of the episodes I felt like were repeats, and I could have glossed over them, but I didn't just in case there was something important, some sort of detail to obtain in order to understand the bigger picture, but there wasn't.

I'm not sure why this anime is highly thought of, but it was okay. I didn't particularly favor it so much.

The intro music is awesome as well as the closing song. Although, the characters keep swearing and it irritates you when they take long to react toa situation, its pretty good. one of my favourite episodes are the one they fight the statues at the churhe nd Kei Kurono dies as well as many other characres. The characters have a habit of swearing for no reason and Kei has been given an ugly characteristic of having too many sexual thoughts. The storyline of the game is awesome though. the thought of having a second chace to live, when you die is comforting, but then your hit by the fact that you have to battle aliens and accumalate 100 points before you can go to the real world again. The fact that the portray Kishimitsu as a damsel in distress with big boobs is insulting. Especially when they allow an animal to do vulgar acts toward her. It is funny though, i hope that someone decides to finish the anime for Gantz cause the manga is not as entertaining.

Well, I thought this anime was pretty cool. The music was very good, the animation was great, and the characters were... Annoying. The main character, Kurono, is the worst hero ever. He's completely unwilling to be a hero, till later on but by it's useless. His best friend Katou is also annoying, he is just too righteous and can't seem to get used to the idea that killing may be your best option. And then the worst, Kei Kisimoto. SHE SUCKS!!!!! Cardinal Rules of anime people, IF THERE IS A HOT GIRL THAT ENDS UP NAKED IN THE MAIN CHARACTERS LAP, SHE'S SUPPOSED TO FALL FOR HIM! It's the rules, but instead she falls for Katou. Yes, seriously, Katou! The best friend with crappy hair. But I gotta still give props to the people who wrote this because these people are REAL. Had it been a regular anime, Kurono would be kicking ass right to begin with, Katou would be the unwilling hero type character and Kishimoto would have fell for Kurono. But this is not a regular anime. In this anime, no one will ever be happy, they are put into a world full of death, violence, and horrid situations. The story was rather compelling I really did like it, but I highly suggest you read the manga because they're are much more likeable charecters and you don't get the feeling of deppression from reading the manga as you would from watching the anime. This anime left me a bit sad. Watch all 26 episodes and find out why. Don't forgot to watch what happens after the credits in the last episode!

What can i say about Gantz. Well the characters in the anime aren't bad, but still i did not find any one of them memorable. For the music I can't say anything bad, but that's because i don't remember any of it which doesn't say much. Still the music wasn't annoying to me, so that's a plus. I loved the animation for the anime; the effects, the color, and the exploding heads were all good. probably one of my favorite thing about the show. Now for the most important thing for an anime, the story. The story for the anime starts out very well. It begins with kurono and his old classmate dying and appearing in this apartment with others who have died. Then basically they get weapons and go alien hunting. BTW the guns are awesome. people die, aliens die, shte happens. I loved the 1st 21 episodes of the anime very entertaining, but the last 5 ruined it. i don't want to spoil it, but you shouldn't watch the last 5 anyways. Instead i recommend watching the 1st 21 episode and then start reading the manga where the anime left off. trust me your better reading after episode 21 then wasting your time watching the last 5 and i encourage everyone to read the manga because it gets a lot better then the anime. trust me the fight in Osaka is F^ing crazy. So overall i gave this anime 3 1/2 stars, so go watch it , but not the last 5.lol.
P.S. i hope this series gets redone like Full Metal Alchemist it really deserves it.
