This is an interesting "horror" anime that doesn't have much mystery, but definitely has the mystery kind of feeling. It portrays a normal girl, Mai, who found out she has physic abilities such as clairvoyance and looking-into-past types of things. She joins a paranormal research project started by Shibuya Kazuya, nicknamed Naru (Narcissistic Naru) as an assistant.
There are also friends who are willing to help in investigations; a foreigner priest; a monk bassist; a shrine maiden; and one that shares the same ability as Mai. And also Lin, Naru's assistant. They receive requests from clients that typically focuses on paranormal beings-- ghosts-- and are asked to examine and perform exorcism on these ghosts.
Whilst Mai stays with Naru, occasionally skipping school for work to live by herself, she develops feelings for Naru that is not only a friendship bond. However she has a rival- Masako, Naru's "friend" and acquaintance who also likes Naru. Both are friends and work with each other...
Plot: I'm not sure if it has a lot of plot. For one thing, this anime is too short to consider or put in any plot at all. I'll give it a decent rating, however, for the interesting ideas.
Art: I really love the art! It's original, and the colors fit perfectly. It's just... amazing. Not the best I've seen, but one of the best art that is used for anime. I find many anime art to have a lot of flaws in them; however I can't get enough of this art! Seriously love it.
Characters: I must say, each character is very original and interesting. Naru has a character personality that is not often used in anime, and I find it quite interesting to... "observe" him. Mai-- typical heroine, outgoing, sometimes clumsy; just a cute girl. Masako; I really love her personality! I think there should be more people in animes with her personality. John is just so adorable; the monk is AWESOME. I applaud him. And the shrine maiden, meh. I'm not a fan, but she has an interesting personality...
