So what makes Glass Mask special? It's the drama! This series never fails to leave you on the edge of your seat, demanding for more. Maya, the main character of the story, is absolutely relatable and extremely loveable. You can't help but cheer for her along the way. All you fans who have watched Skip Beat need to see this one. Although both stories are based around acting, the plot of Glass Mask is much more intense and dramatic, but similar in other aspects as well. Everything about this show is amazing! And similar to Skip Beat, the romance takes awhile for it to build, but once it's off, IT'S OFF! haha...so take the time to see this show! You definitely won't regret it!

The truth come out...the series is very deep, rooted with themes of betrayal, and passion. I did not think I would enjoy it as much as I have...if you want to see some drama with a quality story line, check out Glass Mask Masumi plays an intricate role but the balance between her passion and dedication to her acting is really put to the test. Its no wonder how they are able to continually create an exciting storyline. I recommend it to anyone...enjoy!

The only way I could described this anime is WOW! The story is brilliantly written and masterfully told. The synopsis of the anime may seem simple and ordinary but it is not! This is truly storytelling at its best. A definite must watch!

This anime is really good, but the artwork is not very good. I only liked this anime much is because of Minami, the man who loves Miya. I was only interested in Minami and Miya's love life, but it wasn't known yet. . .

This is an older anime series but it is still very good. In fact when I looked it up I was surprised to find it was based on the 2nd best selling manga of all time!!!

It will definitely appeal to anyone interested in show business or the world of actors and celebrities. Glass Mask gives you a glimpse of the inner cut throat world of showbiz and the determination, talent and connections needed to make it. But it is wrapped in an interesting and heartwarming tale of two rivals, one who is poor but talented and another who was born into showbiz, wealthy and connected.

The main disappointment for me was the ending which was weak. This is probably due to the fact that the manga hasn't finished either and it is uncertain if the author intends to continue it. So the current ending seems to be something hashed together by the anime production team.

A great show! The plot is interesting and all the characters are pretty complex. The main relationships of the story have a lot of layers that unfold slowly as the show goes on. I watched the whole show in 3 days, and it only took that long because I had to work for two of those days. The only problem I have with this show is where they decided to end it. And the manga doesn't seem to be available outside of Japan. But maybe popularity of the show will help that?

its a story that i think it has alot of drama love sadnesss and happiness but she really has a lot to put up to and she is always doing her hardess but to tell you the true at firts a was waching it and then i couldn't stop so i relly recoment glass mask lol

Definitely a good one. Its a keeper!!! The only thing i would have liked is that Maya and Masumi had known their love for each other earlier.
But then I liked it the way it was too. It shows you need to be patient for some things. It may or may not come to you naturally. You will have to
work for something you really want some day. Glass Mask is probably the best anime Ive seen in a while. I'm glad i took the challenge to end up with an amazing show. You really wouldn't regret watching this one. The lost of sleep is worth it. And i got to see it on my birthday too! Yay me!! This is so amazing that when i sleep i think of only this anime. Before i go to sleep whatever I'm doing I can't get it out of my head. You really can't go wrong with this one!! Take a risk! You won't regret it. Besides, life is full of risks. Those who take risks may end up the most . . . . "bright".

This is one of those things that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. I rated it low on everything except the overall because there is a je'ne se quoi about Glass Mask that makes it fun to watch. Glass mask is about a girl who spends most of her time daydreaming about acting and then finds out that she is actually good at it. This is your classic Girl-Meets-Boy, Boy-Likes-Girl, Girl-Hates-Boy type deal at first.
