I honestly didn't know what to expect of this series when I first started on watching it being the owner of the complete collection DVD boxset, and did find it a little difficult to want to try and stick with after the first episodes, but I persevered in the end & ended up actually quite liking it by the time the final 12th episode came along.
It's futuristic setting made way for a very decent drama storyline between the two main characters (Hayami and Mai) who eventually end up falling in love and getting together despite all of the battle barriers that were laid between them, along with a fantastic cast of supporting characters along the way.
It's opening & ending theme songs are good (especially the ending theme in my own personal opinion) & the whole look, style & animation of the background, settings and character designs are all of very high quality & standard.
For someone who was unsure of this series at first & not convinced that I'd enjoy it, I sure thought wrong!
Give it a go! You may also end up being pleasantly surprised yourselves!
