the reason your left in the dark at the end of the whole series is because at that exact moment is when your start off in the .hack//G.U. series for the PS2. and yes it does explain what ovan's arm really is, and its comes as a great shocker! really i didnt see that comming! if you dont play the game then the anime is garbage, and if u dont watch the anime then the game doesnt make sense till about the 2nd disc.
overall roots and GU were a huge improvement of .hack
So I'm on Ep 23, and I'm sick and tired of Haseo ignoring everything and everyone. The story got kinda boring after Ovan mysteriously left. then Shino mysteriously left. It kind of sucks because the viewer is totally left in the dark when it comes to: What exactly is Ovan's arm? Why is he special? does the Key to Twilight exist or even matter? why does Shino compare herself to Aura? Why do we know nothing of Tri-Blade? Why does Tri-Blade look like Kite? How is this anime only 26 eps long? How can this anime succesfully/happily end in a few eps when Haseo still reject Tabby and Phyllo, TaN has evolved into Raven, Sakisaka left and hasn't came back, the same goes for Shino and Ovan. Really what the hell? Does anyone know if this is a sequel, or if this picks up where another .Hack series left off? I head something about a .Hack//G.U. Roots.
