Enter the mysterious world of Halo, an alien planet shaped like a ring. As mankind's super soldier Master Chief, you must uncover the secrets of Halo and fend off the attacking Covenant. During your missions, you'll battle on foot, in vehicles, inside, and outside with alien and human weaponry. Your objectives include attacking enemy outposts, raiding underground labs for advanced technology, rescuing fallen comrades, and sniping enemy forces. Halo also lets you battle three other players via intense split screen combat or fight cooperatively with a friend through the single-player missions.
Halo 3

Halo 3 is a xbox 360 game that people all over the world can play online. Like all Halo games, Halo 3 is made by Bungie.

Halo 3 Campaign

When the game begins, John-117 is back on planet Earth, where the Covenant Loyalists (Prophets, Brutes, Drones, Grunts, Hunters and Jackals), led by the Prophet of Truth, have laid waste to most of the planet. Humankind's population has been reduced to only 200 million people, and is backed up against a wall, fighting for its very survival. The only reason that they have survived for this long is that the Covenant is preoccupied by an excavation site a few miles from the ruins of the East African city New Mombasa. There, they have uncovered a massive Forerunner structure, which is seen in the E3 2006 trailer, that has been buried under the planet's surface for thousands, if not millions of years. It was partially uncovered due to the Slipspace jump that was attempted in Halo 2 by the Prophet of Regret. (halo.wikia.com)

Halo 3 Match-Making

Online when you play Halo 3, you can play ranked, social, or double exp weekend stuff. Ranked games consist of Lone Wolves, Team Doubles, Team Slayer, Throwback, Team Snipers, Team Swat, and MLG. There use to be a ranked playlist called Team Objective, but Bungie, the company of Halo, took it out and then gave it back, but they have renamed it. I have heard that Bungie is taking Throwback out because not that many people play it. MLG use to have many more maps to play on, but Bungie has also changed that. There are only 4 common maps I know of that you will get in MLG. Team Swat and Team Snipers were originally double exp weekend stuff, but Bungie has made it into a ranked playlist for the players of Halo 3 to play.

Social match making consists of Rumble Pit, Social Slayer, Multi-team, Team Mythic, Big Team Battle (Big Team Social) and Action Sack. Social Slayer used to be 4 VS 4, but now it's 5 VS 5. I personality think Bungie should change it back. And then there's Rumble Pit. It used to be a free for all playlist with 6 people and Bungie have changed it to 8 players. I think they should also change that back. I don't see the point of Action Sack at all. You play it. You win and lose. It doesn't matter. You don't earn EXP at all. Bungie should take Action Sack out.

Double EXP weekend consists of many different kinds of playlists that a player could play to earn 2 EXP points each game if won or in a certain place, like the top 4 or 6. Bungie has this Double EXP weekend playlists starting in the Central Time Zone (-6) Thursday at 12 P.M. until Monday 3 A.M. (Writen by Sorrelfeather)
