I've watched both and had enjoyed both version. I believe that Oguri's character - Sano in Japanese version and Wu Chun's character - Quan are both similar and different at the same time. To me, Sano's character is a lot more darker, Oguri's portrayal of Sano is very convincing that makes me believe that he's in a lot of pain, his every expression and body language, it delivers the image of a struggling and proud Sano who basically loves to keep to himself. Wu Chun's portrayal of Quan left me partial, it's very different from the Japanese version. His worries and his very emotion is much too hidden under so many layer, for instance, he seemed to be having a happy life with friends around him compare to Sano who's always seemed - detached. To put it in simpler term, to me, it's hard to chose one from another as they both display similar but in the same time different characteristic. Sano is much darker than Quan, Quan is willing to accept help handed, Sano is slightly prouder than Quan. So, I'm going for both ^^ I like both versions =D
well at this moment I'm going to say HK Taiwan. :]
simply becuase I haven't watched HK Japan yet. I just bought the dvd the other day.
but I liked Ella in HK Taiwan her faces made me laugh, although I do wish her hair wasn't so boyish in the series. T^T
&& the used the character names instead of Sano being Quan. O.o
Japan is WAy better than taiwan.....so much more realistic.....taiwan has the famous Farenheit and SHE but the acting is more...like.....either too dramatic or too fake...Japan is the best of the best! cute guys and good acting ^^
