Lu Rei Xie was motivated to go to a boys school by seeing Zuo Yi Quan do a high jump on TV. In order to go to that school she has to be a boy, so she dresses up as a boy to go to that school . Later on Jin Xiu Yi wonders if he is bisexual because he loves Lu Rei Xie. And doesn't know that it's a she not a he.

HanaKimi Taiwan
Story: The story, just like the Japanese version, is about a girl who disguises herself as a boy and goes to an all boys school to see a high jumper who has lost his ambition. I can't help but compare the two. I found this version to have quite a bit more romance. Zuo Yi Quan (taiwanese version) seemed sweater than Sano Izumi (japanese version) did. Lu Rui Xi (tw version) seemed more boyish than Ashiya Mizuki (j version) was. Jin Xiu Yi (tw version) was a little less funny than Nakatsu Shuichi (j version). Each version had its own quirks and both were very enjoyable. I liked the Japanese version more, but that might be because I watched it first and couldn't help comparing them when I was watching the taiwanese version.
Acting: The acting was great. I loved Ella Chen! She can be so cute. She played the part pretty well. Wu Chun, who played my favorite character Zuo Yi Quan, was so great. I just loved him. Jiro Wang, whom I love as an actor, did a fantastic job, but in my mind he just couldn't compare with Ikuta Toma's performance in the Japanese version.
Music: I loved the music (which I obviously would considering I'm a huge fan of Fahrenheit).
Overall: It was a good drama. I would suggest the Japanese verion before I would suggest this one, but it was really very enjoyable and had it's own flavor.

I've never had watched Taiwanese dramas since the Meteor Garden Fever. Maybe because of the Koreanovelas are getting watched here in the Philippines. Though Hana Kimi was aired here before, I never had the chance to watch it because of the afternoon time slot and I am working these times. When Hana Kimi was replayed in the morning slot, that time it was holiday i think and I got to watched it. I've watched it tathat I didn't realize how funny the story was. It was the first time I saw Wu Chun acted and he was so adorable. I saw Wu Chun together with Calvin on TV when the drama Romantic Princess were aired here and they were invited by ABS-CBN to promote the show. I didn't really had this admiration for him then. So I decided to buy a copy of Hana Kimi and watched it even though it's hard to watch with subtitles since it was not dubbed. From then on, I bought dramas starring Wu Chun like Romantic Princess and Hot Shot. I am still in doubt if I will buy Tokyo Juliet or not because i read some comments that Wu Chun's hair was not nice there..hehe! I say, all those dramas I watched starring Wu Chun, he still looks adorable and I want to meet him so much. Though I don't want to be his stalker but just wanted to be friends with him!

I love this drama...

It's one of the taiwanese drama that I can watch over and over.

At first, I thought it's like a broke back mountain story but with a twist...(since one of them is really a girl~)

Anyway, the story is great and the actors really portrayed the roles very well.

I love seeing Wu Zun in this kind of series...always good looking and physically fit. ^_^

Ella also did an outstanding performance!!! I love all the facial expressions she makes....

One memorable scene for me was when they got lost in the forest.... it really made me smile from both ears! LOL~

Aside from the story and actors....the music is good... not to mention that the actors playing here were all singers! (Wu Zun and Jiro Wang - Farenheit; Ella -s.h.e.)

Over all, I love Hana Kimi (taiwan version)!!!

If you haven't seen this series yet....better start it now!

This it was my first Asian drama. I began to see it during chapter 3, to only see that video that my sister found in Internet. I watch that video and I could not stop to see Hana Kimi from that moment, enchanted me. The acting, music, Ella, Wu Zun, Jiro, the plot, Everything captivated my attention. This version is similar to the manga, and in my opinion, is the best one! I recommend thisdrama, is very funny. Still I have hope of one second season!

I have to say that this is my favorite of all the versions I've seen. Though the manga is awesome, this drama overrules that awesomeness and turns it into something even better. I also think that this is the best drama version of the two different drama series I've seen. The Japanese Hana Kimi just didn't measure up to the Taiwanese Hana Kimi. As most of the people who have loved these series, or still loving it will know, it's funny, cute, the good kind of outrageous, interesting and sweet. C=
