an anime that makes you cheer!
This anime was suprising in that it was very good. if your an eyeshield 21 fan or your a sucker for under dog type of stories then this is an anime that is worth seeing. The mixture of comdey is a relief. Another strong point of this anime is that it doesn't have many fillers. In fact I think of out the total 75 episodes there was only 3 or 4. This allows you to stay right with the action. Also the series has a nice ending.For me this is very important because I hate it when I watch an anime and it leaves me with too many answered questions. You can check out this anime at hulu.com. All in a game of Go!
This series is based around a young boy named Hikaru Shindo who one day, finds an ancient Go board in his grandfather's attic. A ghost by the name of "Sai" comes out and enters Hikaru's mind. Sai then tells his story to Hikaru of being an professional Go player from 1000 years ago. Hikaru then takes up the sport as Sai teaches him. . .
