Normally, these types of shows with a lot of twists and turns make me feel a little sick from all the drama they pick up. This one doesn’t really make me feel sick though it is a bit sad. I liked the comedy they had in the story, and it wasn’t too crazy or overworked like a lot of shows. It was just enough to break up the story line. Not sure why everything seemed to be focused around food but it seems almost everything is in the show. The last parts are really annoying, because they show both things that will happen in the show or what has happened. I have a hard time figuring out exactly who I’m supposed to look to for the relationships. I can’t actually pick just one even though Yuta kind of the main character.
The artwork is rather pretty, nice and gentle. There is a strange mist that seems to be part of the show all the time like its part of a dream. There is a lot of textures in the show, and each one seems to be placed at the right place. It looks like Usagi Drop a bit in its details. Now the comedy part changes the artwork a little but it never gets to bad. I’m really not sure about the strange food play that happens in the beginning though. It just feels strange. The ending seems different for almost every show.
The English voices mostly work well, although I’m not so sure of un-impressed by Hagumi’s voice. She seems way too childish even though she’s supposed to be 18. I don’t know any 18 year old, sheltered or unsheltered that actually acts like she does or sounds like she does. It makes me feel like she’s a Lolita and that the people there are pedophiles. I can’t help it, it just makes me feel that way.

This is probably one of my all time favorite romance anime.
It was romantic, heartwarming, deep, and philosophical all at the same time.
The story is about a bunch of teenagers from an art school and the adults in their lives.
The teenagers are struggling with their individual feelings of love for one another.
As the story progresses, you will get wrapped up in all the love triangles in the story.
There is always drama and never a boring second in this anime.
I highly recommend it for anyone that needs something to get engulfed in.

I personally think that Honey and Clover II is more sad than the first one, but both are truley amazing. The storyline for Honey and Clover II is just utterly brilliant. Unexpected situations would come upon the characters and things just get so complicated, and it makes the story overall just plain sad. Love and family problems set the characters on a run, but they soon overcome them. I just love this anime so much that I can watch it over and over again without getting tired of it.

Honey and Clover II is a very sad story in my opinion.I advise you to watch this because it's just awesome. Watch this anime and you'll love it!!!........

I really connected to this Anime as a poor college student going to an Art School. It is about a young struggling art student Takemoto and his group of friends. Mostly it is concentrated on the relationships and love triangles that develop, it is a little to much at times. The characters are complex and interesting. Takemoto is pretty much the normal one of the group, Takemoto has a crush on Hagu. Hagu is short, and acts and appears like a child even though she is eighteen. She is a brilliant artist, but gets physically ill from stress. She has a crush on Morita. Morita is a little older at 24, he constantly absent from school for a mysterious job and when he is at his apartment will sleep for days at a time. He does like Hagu. Yamada is an older student, she is more like a mother to all the other students, she is in love with Mayama. Mayama is another older student and lives in the same complex as Takemoto and Morita. He takes care of a disabled woman named Rika in which he has fallen in love with. Now besides all these love triangles, they all get along and do a lot of things together and that is what is interesting. The added bonus to this series is the opening credits, a creative piece of art with a little shocking ending. As much as I liked this series, I got bored during the second series, Honey and Clover 2.
